I know I'm not alone when I say that writing about myself is a daunting task. So, I turned to my friends and asked them to tell me which of my qualities they most enjoy, and also what they felt needed improvement. Here’s what they said:
On the positive side - I am loyal, caring, honest and kind to the people in my life. I am lots of fun to be with and extremely easy going. I am smart both intellectually and emotionally - in equal proportions. I enjoy almost everything except climbing up high precipices and looking down. I dance like nobodys' business, keep myself healthy and physically active, nourish my spiritual self, care deeply about the people I love and the world around me, enjoy a successful career, and don’t leave dishes in the sink.
On the negative side - I don’t drive. I’m not a great ball catcher. You probably won't want me on your softball team...

Trying to enjoy every moment!

Intimate, playful and loving relationships; I am a good listener and am honest and compassionate. I'm a good dancer and love African, Haitian and Salsa music. I make great cakes and cookies, and am a good cook. I have created a home that is warm, welcoming and full of art.

I can come across as reserved but as you get to know me you, you will experience me as spontaneous and playful.

I most often read contemporary fiction. My favorite books of late are Faithful Place by Tana French and Dreams of Joy by Lisa See. My favorite author is Ann Patchett.
I dislike Broadway musicals, but enjoy theater and contemporary dance. My taste in music and food is eclectic.

I don't think I have a typical Friday night activity. At times I spend it with friends, either having dinner out, seeing a movie, or just relaxing at home. During the summer I often go to Prospect Park to hear live music. Love it!
When the mood is right and my energy high, I'll occassionally go out at midnight to dance the night away at SOBs.
