My self-summary
I'm clearly bad at summing myself up in a box. I'd be quite scared if I was good at it. But here we go....
I left a career a couple years ago, went walk-about, and am slowly rebuilding my life.
I tend to be a little shy when I first meet new people, and become fiercely loyal once trust has been established. I've found that it takes a bit of sifting to get to the good stuff an you can find some amazing people if you're willing to take the time.
Honesty really is the best policy in my book, it really makes it easy to remember what you said.
I'm an all around awesome person.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm running a small business that deals with the art of energetically healing people, and teaching how to use core shamanic concepts in everyday western life.
Spending the days selling cameras, Well, I'm really just trying to be someone I can talk to in the morning with a smile.
I’m really good at
Putting together furniture, doing the dishes, being on time, missing social cues, using circular logic, finding stupid pictures on the internets that make me giggle.
The first things people usually notice about me
My reddish beard or the tattoos. Sometimes its the height. In either case I've gotten used to that quizzical look people give.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Where to begin?
Books, yes. I like those. Palahniuk, Vonnegut, even a little Dan Brown now and again, but lets keep that between us ok?

Not that much tv these days, but community, breaking bad, father ted, the IT crowd, spaced, the wire, the league, frisky dingo, freaks & geeks, Millennium

I could say for the music section that I like everything, but that's not true. I dig on the New York and Minnesota indie Hip-Hop scene, and I have a special place in my heart for 80's power ballads. Lately it's been a lot of classical when at home, or this American life & radiolab. I sing along with Nirvana when the windows are down and secretly listen to bubble gum pop when the windows are up. Lately a lot of Doomtree, Aesop Rock, The Killers, Magnets for Bad Energy, Lorde, Belmont Playboys, Afghan Whigs, many many many more.

Movies would be Mean Girls (best movie), The Thin Man series, 12 monkeys, american psycho, Belly, better off dead, blade runner, brazil, citizen kane, city of god, clue, eastern promises, Heathers, High Filedity, Layer Cake, Lovely Molly, Michael Clayton, Monty Python, Naked Lunch, Rosencrantz & Gildernstern are dead, Sound of my voice, Step brothers, stoker, strange brew, GOONIES, just about all the Pixar films, and a random smattering of Japanese Horror. If it has a large completely out of place choreographed dance number, I'm in.
The six things I could never do without
burgers, some type of camera, humor/sarcasm, breathing, a connection to something greater than myself, people to share these things with.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How the hell did THAT song get stuck in my head? Ways to be of service. Ways to deepen my daily practice and Steak puns. They are a rare medium well done.
On a typical Friday night I am
I could be out with the people at any number of establishments partaking in enjoyable activities, but usually it seems that Fridays I like to take easy, dinner or a movie wether out or in bed.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Something about being on an airplane always makes my cry at whatever movie I'm watching.
