OK, so I am trying to expand my profile to 1000 words, so I can snag the coveted 95% completion mark. That means you should forgive the rambling!

For the purposes of full disclosure, I hate online dating. I don't think anyone really enjoys it, but it beats the alternative which is the bar scene. It took me a while to come to the profound realization that none of my bar meetings ever evolved to a relationship that had any real future to it.

But online dating sites are at best the haven for people in the 22-35 age group who are thirsty now that the college dating well ran dry. At worst, these sites are home to some of the more creepy members of the single community.

Also, I am apparently quite compatible with women in Canada, Michigan and NY. I just love how the site generates matches in a 200-mile radius. Very promising!

...And "Woot!" my quest for 1,000 words is complete!

I now I am splitting my time between a sales job (that I hate) and writing for a music blog (that I love). Back to sales to pay the bills, but I unwind by writing about music which also gives me an excuse to stay current. If only I could play an instrument!

Beside selling large stuff that breaks and shooting my mouth off about stuff no one cares about, I like to think about all the great things I could be doing with my life... learning to play guitar or a foreign language or writing the great American novel, etc.

I would like to eventually settle into more schooling or find a way to make money writing.

The problem with getting paid to write is that I have no idea which direction to go or who would want to pay me, LOL. The latter is probably the biggest problem, but writing Harlequin Romances seems like the easiest and most profitable solution. On the plus side, "I write porn for women" is an amusing response to the age-old question: "So what are you doing these days?" I would be a sure-fire hit at all family reunions.

Talking. I like it. I can also walk and think pretty well.
