My self-summary
I am currently doing med/grad school at a certain local university which is sadly lacking in Division I sports, and when I grow up I want to be a cancer doc and do cancer biology research. I'm looking for a lady who's smart, creative, passionate, and funny. I want to end up with someone who knows who she is and what she wants, is perhaps slightly insane, but is able to keep up the illusion that she has her shit together.

I gravitate toward people who are fascinated by how the world around them works, and have strong opinions about the way things SHOULD work. I studied literature and music and I still compose and write short stories in my spare time. I like to explore and accrue new experiences and I'm always up for trying new things as long as they aren't patently bad ideas. And even then, I'm sometimes game.

Things that make me smile:
--Nature, double helices, my dear old Indiana Hoosiers, interracial couples, utility kilts, people drinking coffee

Things that make me frown:
--Doing things "ironically," jerks, suburbia, moldy fruit, traffic jams

Things that make me barf:
--Single-issue voters, monotony, obvious jeggings
What I’m doing with my life
MD/PhD student. Please visit my self-summary and sign the guestbook.
The first things people usually notice about me
When my hair's shorter, black people in Saint Louis call me "Timberlake" and start singing their favorite JT song when I'm around.
Update: a very white pathology professor also thought I look like JT. Thankfully he didn't feel compelled to sing about it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Authors: Thomas Mann, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Kafka, Freud.

Shows: I love sci-Fi like BSG and Trek and also fantasy and the only thing that saves me from addiction is not having a tv.

Food: ethnic

Music: Any kind of live music that doesn't suck. Especially love the French and German Romantic. I would argue that music is the most beautiful art. :)
The six things I could never do without
1) Exercise, because lately I've sublimated all of my sexual frustration into frenetically heaving metal objects up and down and running in place...
2) Coffee
3) Sriracha sauce, which I manage to smear on everything, including my eyeballs when I take my contacts out and let me tell you, it burns like hell
4) Beer
5) Musack
I spend a lot of time thinking about
YOU! *blush* *giggle*
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I ate the last cookie, and it was really good!

UPDATE: I now regret eating that cookie. It was clearly more yours than mine, and I had already eaten 5 other cookies. Also, I felt kinda sick afterwards.

You're a clever girl, nice to strangers but harsh on hypocrites, striving for something beautiful and esoteric.
