My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I’d love to meet someone I really connect with. She'll always know she's adored and admired, and that I have her back. We'll encourage and challenge each other, and laugh together--often.

Adjectives that fit me are kind, curious, witty, honest, respectful, analytical, and principled. I've also been called quirky and irreverent.

Most of the time I approach life with the right balance of humor and thoughtfulness.

I pay attention to current issues and like hearing a variety of opinions on them.

Athletic and interested in fitness and nutrition.

A fan of movies, especially off-beat/innovative ones.

Interested in what lights people up as well as their dark side. I really like getting to know people in depth.

I think the summary of me under the "Personality" tab is way off on some things.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in education. Currently with a school reform organization in SF. Before that, I handled finances for a charter school in Hayward, wrote about education issues in California for a research/communications non-profit, and worked on education legislation in Sacramento.

All the King's Men by Robert Penn Warren was a great book. Also enjoyed Catch 22, Cradle to Cradle, and David McCullough's biography of Harry Truman. About once a year I re-read "The Inner Ring" by C.S. Lewis.

I'm also a fan of most programs on NPR--especially This American Life.
