My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm easy, like Sunday morning.

Originally from Chicago, I moved to Philadelphia for work a little over 3 years ago. From my base camp in South Philly, I like to venture all over the metro area in search of a good time. I'm a huge sports fan (mostly Chicago teams, of course!), but I can get down with the passion of the Philly faithful. Work demands a large portion of my time, but things are getting better these days and I find myself with more and more time to enjoy the city and her people!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Consuming mass quantities...

(Yeah, it's a Coneheads reference. Big whoop, wanna fight about it??)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding the silver lining.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My laugh. I produce it often.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love reading good fiction (or historical fiction), and on any given vacation week I can tear through 4-5 books on the beach. A few of my all-time fav's:
Pillars of the Earth - Ken Follet
The Stand - Stephen King
The Complete Sherlock Holmes - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy - Stieg Larsson
The Illustrated Man - Ray Bradbury
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy" - Douglas Adams
A Song of Ice and Fire saga - George R. R. Martin
Thunderstruck - Erik Larson

Movies: I feel like I love the same movies everyone loves, but let me tell you about the single greatest movie EVER made: Raiders of the Lost Ark. There can be no question.

TV: I watch too much of it. Recently got into Breaking Bad and regret it immediately because its so damn good. As far as I'm concerned, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are required viewing during an election year... South Park is epic. The Wire is the best show in the history of TV. I could go on...

Music: My heart is all classic rock (Led Zep, The Stones, Clapton), but my soul is old school R&B (Commodores, Bill Withers, Sam Cooke). That being said, I am open to new music all the time. Really getting into the Black Keys/Raconteurs lately. Everyone loves that one Gotye song, but I think the whole album is pretty sweet, actually. I dabble in bass guitar (slappa-da-bass??!), but I dont practice as much as I should (see above!).

Food: Love it. The more exotic the better. I may be addicted to sushi...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family. Obviously.
2. Friends. A very close second.
3. Gin (& tonic). Still counts as 1!
4. Music. CANNOT drive or ride in a car without great tunes.
5. Baseball. Playing, watching, going to the park.
6. Indoor plumbing. This seems even more obvious than #1&2.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Work. Which is why when I'm not at work, I try never to think about it. Chemicals help this!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Looking to go out drinking and carousing with friends! Unless I'm on call...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I got the moves like Jagger...

You're a fun person who likes to have a good time and loves to laugh. Interested in going to museums, exhibits, sporting events, trivia, the zoo!!, a new restaurant, or just the local pub for a few cold ones. 2 drink minimum! ;-)

Also message me if you're a girl and you like Rush... Not because I'm interested necessarily, but just because I'm curious to see if any female Rush fans exist!
