My self-summary
I've had a lot change in my life recently, so time to change this up!

I've been in the city for 3+ years and I'm so glad to be here. I'm originally from CT, but I knew I wanted to be here the first time I visited at 6. It hasn't always been so glorious, but I'm finally getting into a groove.

After a long time working retail and being sort of directionless, I just made a move into the talent agency world and I'm loving it.

In my spare time, I love cooking, exploring the cities restaurants and whole in the walls, going to flea markets, seeing theatre, and trying new things. I also sing, like, pretty much every other word. I also hope to become a certified life coach in the near future.

Here's so more about me.
-I'm a pretty self aware person, and people often think I'm older than I am, which has its benefits.
-I have an infectious personality.
-I've been told I have the patience of a saint, except when it comes to myself.
-I love a good nap (with someone is always better)
-I think a good blend of serious and silly makes for a better life.
-I was obsessed with Hocus Pocus and Funny Girl growing up....I still am
-I'm actually convinced my nephew is the greatest baby ever.
-I take myself out on morning movie dates sometimes (again, I would love to do this with someone else)
-I sing every day.
-I'm obsessed with Joss Whedon
-I'm also obsessed with Showgirls.
-I think people who wear plaid shirts with plaid pants (unless they are over 65 years old) should be brought back home and forced to change clothes.
-I also think manly men who wear plaid may be the most attractive thing ever. I could go for a Brawny man.
-I think Diane Weist is the bee's knees.
-I'm 100% out to my family
-I voted for Hillary in 2008.
-I can be stubborn
-I've dated a lot but I know Mr. Right isn't far away.
-I'm vegetarian but still cook meat for people.
-I'm always the host, even if it's not my house,
-I love a good glass of wine, but am not afraid to but 3 buck chuck.
-I've cooked on national television before
-I have some extremely nerdy tendencies.
-I tell me mom pretty much everything.
AND SO MUCH MORE.

There's obviously a lot more than this, but that's for a first date. ;).
What I’m doing with my life
Currently working at a pretty awesome talent agency.

I sing with a chorus which takes up some time too, and direct shows and cabarets when I have time.

I want to meet someone who gives me new things to try so that I can do the same.
I’m really good at
Singing. Honestly, I sing sometimes without realizing it, which can be a little embarrassing, but then I realize how funny it is. If there was only one talent that I was allowed to keep....you know, if some weird talent eating demon came for me....I would keep my voice.

I'm a really good listener. I know a lot of people say that on here, and I guess there's no way to prove it, but I truly listen when people talk. Enough people into life have commented on it to make me believe it, so there you have it.
The first things people usually notice about me
Chest Hair. I've been trying to avoid this but I can't. Someone references it every day. I don't even have THAT much. It just looks like a whole lot.

If I'm laughing then it's that....It's nice though because whenever I see a friend in a show, they know that I'm there.

I also talk really loud sometimes and say inappropriate things too....so that could be

Epipen

I put twelve. I'm not really sorry either.

This is too hard. I also can't live without (...) apparently. I use it too much.

And if you put Peanut Butter as something you can't live without, we won't be a match because I am deathly allergic - thus the Epipen.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I make up fake scenarios where people do ridiculous things that you'd only see in science fiction/fantasy movie's. They include using telekinetic powers, flame throwing, and people becoming transformers.

And men.

And my future. There is actually a lot of time spent on this one, but that's a little cliche so I wont go into detail.
On a typical Friday night I am
Nothing typical here. Could be going out with some friends, watching tacky action flicks with my roommate, writing in my blog, or going on some crazy adventure. I would love to say sleep but I'm really bad at getting to bed early. Maybe you can help change that???
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm really pretty open. I mean I'm not going to blast all my dirty secrets in the internets, but if someone asks me something I have no problem sharing.

Just to appease the okcupid gods, I'll give one little tidbit. I once broke my mother's pullout couch after having sex on it with my boyfriend. To this day she has no idea how it happened.
I’m looking for
  • Gay guys only
  • Ages 28–40
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You have a million dollars!

Or you read my novel of a profile.
Seriously though, I want to be with a guy who isn't afraid to hold my hand or give me a kiss in public. I'm definitely at the point in my life where I want to be with a man and not a boy-namely you can take care of yourself, have confidence and stand by your convictions.

Also, if we have things in common. That's a big one.
