My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been in the city for 4+ years. From
CT, went to school I'm Boston, and now living in Astoria.

I've had a lot of career change and growth since moving here, but I'm finally doing the thing that makes me happiest. I'm a life and career coach (focusing mostly on theater professionals right now as that's my background) and finding so much fulfillment!

In my spare time, I love cooking, exploring the cities restaurants and whole in the walls, going to flea markets, seeing theatre, and trying new things. I also sing, like, pretty much every other word.

Here's so more about me.
-I'm a pretty self aware person, and people often think I'm older than I am, which has its benefits.
-I have an infectious personality.
-I've been told I have the patience of a saint, except when it comes to myself.
-I love a good nap (with someone is always better)
-I think a good blend of serious and silly makes for a better life.
-I was obsessed with Hocus Pocus and Funny Girl growing up....I still am
-My neice and nephew are, hands down, the best.
-I take myself out on morning movie dates sometimes (again, I would love to do this with someone else)
-I sing every day.
-I'm obsessed with Joss Whedon
-I'm also obsessed with Showgirls.
-I think people who wear plaid shirts with plaid pants (unless they are over 65 years old) should be brought back home and forced to change clothes.
-I think Diane Weist is the bee's knees.
-I'm 100% out to my family
-I voted for Hillary in 2008.
-I can be stubborn
-I'm vegetarian
-I'm always the host, even if it's not my house,
-I love a good glass of wine, but am not afraid to buy 3 buck chuck.
-I've cooked on national television before
-I have some extremely nerdy tendencies.
-I tell me mom pretty much everything.

There's obviously a lot more than this, but that's for a first date. ;).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm assisting three other life coaches and coaching my own clients as well. :)

I sing with a chorus which takes up some time too, and direct shows and cabarets when I have time.

I want to meet someone who gives me new things to try so that I can do the same.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Singing. Honestly, I sing sometimes without realizing it, which can be a little embarrassing, but then I realize how funny it is. If there was only one talent that I was allowed to know, if some weird talent eating demon came for me....I would keep my voice.

I'm a really good listener. I know a lot of people say that on here, and I guess there's no way to prove it, but I truly listen when people talk. Enough people into life have commented on it to make me believe it, so there you have it.
The first things people usually notice about me

Chest Hair. I've been trying to avoid this but I can't. Someone references it every day. I don't even have THAT much. It just looks like a whole lot.

If I'm laughing then it's that....It's nice though because whenever I see a friend in a show, they know that I'm there.

I also talk really loud sometimes and say inappropriate things that could be

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends and Family

6 "Real" Things
Movie Theaters
Plaid, tartan, anything in that family

I put twelve. I'm not really sorry either.

This is too hard. I also can't live without (...) apparently. I use it too much.

And if you put Peanut Butter as something you can't live without, we won't be a match because I am deathly allergic - thus the Epipen.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I make up fake scenarios where people do ridiculous things that you'd only see in science fiction/fantasy movie's. They include using telekinetic powers, flame throwing, and people becoming transformers.

And men.

And my future. There is actually a lot of time spent on this one, but that's a little cliche so I wont go into detail.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Nothing typical here. Could be going out with some friends, watching tacky action flicks with my roommate, writing in my blog, or going on some crazy adventure. I would love to say sleep but I'm really bad at getting to bed early. Maybe you can help change that???
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm really pretty open. I mean I'm not going to blast all my dirty secrets in the internets, but if someone asks me something I have no problem sharing.

Just to appease the okcupid gods, I'll give one little tidbit. I once broke my mother's pullout couch after having sex on it with my boyfriend. To this day she has no idea how it happened.

Seriously though, I want to be with a guy who isn't afraid to hold my hand or give me a kiss in public. I'm definitely at the point in my life where I want to be with a man and not a boy-namely you can take care of yourself, have confidence and stand by your convictions.

Also, if we have things in common. That's a big one.
