My self-summary
I'm a pretty laid back guy. I'm always joking around. I don't take myself too seriously. I was born in Canada, lived in Indiana for 17 years and just moved to Renton.

I arrived in Washington in July and I'm still getting my bearings. Seattle seems like an awesome city and I can't wait to start exploring and meeting new people!

Things I find interesting are astronomy, technology, current events/politics, etc. Mostly I just love talking and hearing what other people have to say. I'm a pretty nerdy guy so I'll geek out over almost any thing. I highly value the ability to banter well. I feel like it's a lost art!

Oh, I'm mildly obsessed with tattoos. I have 8 right now and would have many more if it wasn't so damn expensive! Looking for a new shop in the Seattle area. Taking recommendations!
What I’m doing with my life
I went to Purdue for 3 years but ended up dropping out and entered the work force for the next 3-4 years, doing nothing particularly interesting. I went back to IUPUI and got my BS in Computer Science. I'm currently on the hunt for a development job in the Seattle area.
I’m really good at
Video games (I'm sad that that was the first thing that came to mind :P)
Singing, or at least I like to think so.
Skating (Played hockey since I was 4)
Making people laugh
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't think I have any particular physical feature that stands out. But, people probably first notice that I'll say just about anything to get a laugh.

Recently someone on here said my smile was very endearing, so I'm adding that :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin

Movies - I love Kevin Smith movies (e.g. Mall Rats) and anything from Simon Peg (e.g. Hot Fuzz). Inception and Scott Pilgrim rocked. I'm pumped to see The Hobbit when it drops (it rocked).

I love scary movies too and have seen just about every zombie flick there is. Okay there are probably tons I haven't seen, but I've seen a lot. Cabin in the Woods and The Conjuring were really good.

Shows - Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, Sons of Anarchy, Parks and Rec., 30 Rock, Daily Show, Naruto, New Girl, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon... etc.

Music - Tons of stuff. If I had to pick one genre it would be rock music, and yes I know that's very broad. This includes but is not limited to Punk, Alt, Metal, Post, etc. I love classics like the Beatles and Rush, as well. Electronica, too. Okay I could do this forever so, I'll stop. Recently got into Indie Folk music.

Food - Pretty much any style. I really love spicy food. omnomnomnom!
The six things I could never do without
Obviously I COULD do w/o these. But, I'd prefer not to.

-Inside jokes
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm entirely too aware that perception is relative and that how I perceive myself and the world isn't necessarily how others do.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing anything that sounds interesting to me at that moment.
