My self-summary Propose an edit

First of all, I've noticed the line "I like to laugh" a lot. "I like to laugh"? Who doesn't like to laugh? Laughing is one of the most genuine and positive human emotions there is, if not THE most. Laughing is fun as hell. Who laughs and then kicks over a garbage can because it happened? I can't imagine some big dude saying "YOU MADE ME LAUGH!" then throwing that person against a wall...anyway...I like to laugh.

I'm looking for a strong, independent, intelligent, passionate, funny, knowledgeable, possibly quirky, leaning towards the very geeky side girl who actually has something in common with me and likes to laugh. Good looks couldn't hurt.

Looking for someone who is great company to take out to movies, comedy shows, and concerts.

Friendship is always the best starting point for a great relationship, I suppose.

I'm up/down for short-term dating, as I guess most things are really trial-period until you find the right person.

Geek? I'm a geek? I don't like labels that much...read on for more labels!

Have I accurately misrepresented myself yet?...next text box!

I'm not arrogant

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I'm pretty ambitious. Will probably be really successful...currently enjoying youth, though. Did that sound arrogant? I'll edit my self-summary to say I'm not arrogant...

Working full-time at a place that is not what I want to do (product placement)but definitely something that pays the bills and passes the time: Entertainment Marketing.

Recently launched a website off of a podcast I produce and am always pretty busy being editor of said geek-related site (reviews, interviews, news, etc.)

Currently trying my hand in improv and soon to try my hand in serious writing (comics or tv).

Currently working my ass off get somewhere with all of the above

I'm really good at Propose an edit

I'm very musically inclined. Used to play guitar in an arguably popular band to one specific and small regional area. Haven't really played in quite a while. It's a skill I've very much undercultivated.

Very personable. I'll get along with absolutely ANYBODY...doesn't mean I'll like 'em, though. Not fake, just good at finding the good in all people. It's there, just sucks sometimes. Right? Does that sound too cold? C'mon...

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit

My resemblance to really random celebrities that I don't agree with...the resemblance, not the celebrities.

I guess I dress well sometimes.

Make a bunch of people laugh all the time. Pretty good in front of large crowds or strangers. This could go either way as a good/bad, depends on what you're looking for.

You should message me if Propose an edit

Message me if you are a geek and if you enjoy doing geeky things. If you enjoy going out on the town, senselessly overanalyzing the minutia of life and television/films/comics/music that were never meant to go deeper than the surface. If you enjoy comedy and/or comedy shows. If you can make me laugh. If you're up for a movie and a bite. Or dinner and a show. If you are legitimately awesome.

***Or if you want to help me with Halloween costume ideas***
