My self-summary
I'm Irish born and raised, but have lived most of my adult life in the States, 12years in NYC and just over a year here in LA. I still love NYC but am loving my life here in the sun.
So here I am looking for someone special to have fun with. You only have one life to live and I think it's better shared.
I'm fun, honest and above all loyal... I like to be spontaneous but do better with a little structure in my life.
Exercise is very important to me, I workout 4 to 5 times a week and on the weekends love to hike. In the last year I've gotten into CrossFit, which is a whole other level of fitness, it really kicks your ass but is so much fun.
I love going to the cinema and will basically see anything from Pixar to Wim Wenders, you name it. ...having said that I'm no shut in, I devourer music and love going to gigs, Recent favorites were the last ever LCD Soundsystem gig at MSG last year, Metronomy at the Echoplex and LA band Electric Guest at the Bootleg.
What I’m doing with my life
For the last 18 months I've been working on a big studio film Now You See Me, out in June. I started out as the directors assistant but ended up getting a part in the film and even directing some of it! I never thought working 16hrs a day 7 days a week could be this much fun.
Before that ...I've done just about everything from working on the production line of BMW in Munich when I left school to being a digital creative director for U2 in the studio and on the road.
I’m really good at
...enjoying life and having fun!, right now I'm determined to enjoy the Summer by accepting as many invites for adventure as possible.
People tell me I'm a pretty good cook, but more then a love of food, I love to cook for others, ...I enjoy cooking big meals for family and friends.
I'm a decent amature photographer, (I think), ...my G12 is never out of reach..
I think I'm enjoying exercise more, but I think that's the longer you live in this wonderful city. Runyon Canyon is a lot more inviting on a Monday morning then Dublin Bay or Lower Manhattan for that matter.
The first things people usually notice about me
I think it's my smile then my Irish accent, ...which is very slight by the way.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Boards Of Canada, Electric Guest, LCD Soundsystem, TV on The Radio, Broken Bells, Metronomy, Van Morrison, Chromeo,
...Movies too many to mention, ...Wim Wenders, Micheal Mann, any sort of silly comedy. Classic cinema, I'm a sucker for Christmas Movies. The Long Goodbye (I recently moved into Marlowe's apt building, sadly the stoned lesbians no longer live there).
Girls, Veep, Game Of Thrones, 30 Rock, Family Guy, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, (best show on TV), cooking shows, No Reservations, House of Cards.
TED.com, The Playlist, Pitchforkmedia, Kayak
A Confederacy Of Dunces, ...I read mostly non fiction as I get sent so many scripts I never find the time for fiction.
The six things I could never do without
Cinema ...all forms
A decent camera ...and to an extent technology.
Live music a great gig is better then any drug
Exercise ...I have to do something daily or I'd be crazy or depressed or both.
Travel ...I'm always on Kayak planning and scheming, this is a big world and life is very short.
Freshly roasted coffee beans to wake to is one of the finer things in life.
...and last but not least my Family back in Ireland and my friends all over the world.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Creative writing, I've spend a good amount of the last 8 years writing film scripts.
Where my next adventure will be.
On a typical Friday night I am
A drink at sunset with friends, then either dinner with friends or a movie either in the cinema or at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm happy with my life and myself.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 26–39
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
If you are looking for fun and adventure!
...being super silly or looking for a hiking partner, ...or a movie partner, ...or a foodie partner, a loyal friend or a shoulder to cry on, a pillar for support or a heart to hold you.
