Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, so my name is Brian, I'm a semi-recent college graduate, and I
currently work as an account service specialist for a health
insurance company. I'm a huge movie lover, I like reading, writing,
being around people. I'm addicted to caffeine, but that's it, no
drugs or other strange addictions. I like to think that I'm a
generally active person, I like doing different things around
Boston, I like traveling, but I also like hanging out and just
watching TV. Usually Comedy Central or HBO.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
As I said, I'm currently working for a health insurance company. As
glamorous as that is I'm more interested in media production, I
went to school for it for Pete's sake, so hopefully I get a job in
that field sometime soon. That's my near future plans, I haven't
figured out anything beyond that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Watching movies, if you can be good at such a thing. I'm a great
person to go to the movies with because I won't talk at all. I've
been taking some improv classes recently so I'm getting better at
that very specific thing. I'm great at self-deprecating humor.
Anything that requires me to throw something in a straight line:
Corn hole, horse shoes, bowling.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My facial hair probably, unless you approach me from behind, then
it would be the gray tuft of hair I have on the back of my head.

Let's see here.
For books: Catch 22, The Stand, American Gods, Anansi Boys, Wind Up
Bird Chronicle, The Green Mile, The Long Walk.
Movies: Pulp Fiction, Fargo, Clockwork Orange, Truman Show, Punch
Drunk Love, Toy Story trilogy, Social Network, older Spielberg
movies, The Bicycle Thief, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest,
Mulholland Drive and many others. I've been blind buying Criterion
films lately to mostly good results.
Shows: Breaking Bad and Arrested Development are my two favorites.
I've been really into Rectify as of late. If you like Rectify let's
talk about that. Great show.
Music: Alternative rock, folk, indie is generally where I spend
most of my musical listening time. Modest Mouse is one of my
Food: I am a lover of all types of food. Fancy foods or cheap
foods, healthy foods or not so healthy foods. So much foods.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, my friends, seasons, movies, coffee, comedy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future, what I'm going to be doing in a year or 5 or 10. I
think a lot about people, not in a weird way, but like what they're
thinking, the stuff that they're going through in life and how
they're feeling about it. I think about movies a lot, big surprise
there. I think about hypothetical situations a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with my friends in the city of Boston, or maybe back home in NH
with my family, or perhaps I'm back at the apartment watching
TV/movies or playing around on my computer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once peed my pants at school in third grade, but I don't think
anyone noticed. No one said anything to me about it so I hope they
