I am an outdoorsy, artsy kind of goober. No really. I'm extremely lucky to have found a wife who seems to like that I'm a goober and still finds me sexy. She's also my adventure buddy. I love to rock climb, mountain bike, hike, travel, and experience new things, or to just hang out and relax.

Good question. I'd say I'm enjoying my life.

I'm somewhat good at a lot of things, but not really good at much. I'm creative and good with my hands. I do ceramics as a hobby, and photography, and like to think that I'm somewhat good at those.

Probably my butt. Just kidding. But seriously. I often wonder what people first notice about me, but I have no idea. I definitely look a lot younger than I am. People usually guess lower 30's, but sometimes younger. I certainly don't feel like I'm 43, and most definitely don't act like I'm any older than 25. (Though my wife would probably say I act much younger, like 12.)

Not 12, more like 15. You're definitely past puberty. (says my wife)

Favorite authors: Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Naomi Novik. I mostly read fantasy books, though sometimes nonfiction.

Music, hmm. I like a pretty broad range of rock. Everything from Tool to Tori Amos, Radiohead, John Butler Trio, Techno and Blues.

I'm a big action movie fan, though I love movies in general. I was a film studies minor in college, but I didn't let that make me a movie snob.

I love art and would some day like to make art for a living. I make ceramics as a hobby and I'm trying to teach myself photography. I love looking at something I made and thinking, "Wow, I made that."

I'm also a big fan of food. All kinds. I'll try just about anything, as long as it's not olives. My favorites, besides any form of chocolate, would be sushi, or salmon, or steak, or cheese, or...well anything.

Hmmm, there could be a pattern here.

Completely random things. Sometimes I think about the next ceramic piece I want to make, or what I want to photograph next. But usually sex.

Sitting on the couch at home watching a movie with my wife, or on our way for a weekend adventure trip. Sometimes we're out with friends or at a potluck/game night.

I have very little shame, and I try to live my life with no regrets.
