I love windy roads, with the windows down, the radio up, and knowing exactly what is behind me- but not what's ahead. I've driven across the country, from Atlantic to Pacific, 8 times so far....
I like things made out of wood, stone and metal. My favorite colors are purple and gunmetal grey. I enjoy cooking, good books, great conversations, garlic salt, and climbing things.
I like animals and they usually like me. I prefer to play sports rather than watch them on tv; I can throw a football, hit a golf ball, drive stick shift, shoot skeet, will probably beat you at darts, and no, I don't have any brothers ;-) I try to see as much stand-up comedy, live music and theatre as possible. My art collection is getting a bit out of control. I'm good at word games, bad at complicated math, and have "interesting" handwriting. I prefer to park far away and walk. The ocean makes me happy. So do ice-skating rinks, fire pits, discovering new music, filthy-dirty vodka martinis with bleu cheese stuffed olives, pedicures, high heels, good boots, cool trees, old barns and hugs.
If everyone is thinking it, I'll probably be the one to say it.

Enjoying it. Finding creative ways to fill it with good times, good people, interesting places, new experiences and laughter. I want to be a useful human being. And whatever I'm doing, I want to do it well. I love being a positive influence, and occasionally a bad one, if the situation calls for it.

Not using the microwave for anything. Putting things together, especially IKEA furniture. Lip reading. Talking people into things, but hey, only awesome things that shouldn't need convincing anyway! Making really elaborate pictures with emoji icons on my cell phone. Telling stories in an over-animated and excited fashion. Creating things to eat (sounds weird, but my friends will agree that this is actually an accurate description of what I do with food). Miniature golf, pretty sure I'm still the reigning Champion of the World....
Asking questions you haven't thought of. Playing Devil's Advocate- usually with myself, in my head, with every topic possible, but out loud too, if I'm having a good conversation and you're into that sort of thing.

Sometimes it's one of my tattoos. I get a lot of comments about my arms and I have this smirk that gets called out on occasion also. The more polite usually say my eyes.

I'm not much for declaring favorites, the most recent books I've read: Games of Thrones I-III, Guitar Zero, Life of Pi, Anarchy Evolution, The Queens' Fool, and I'm in the middle of Koushhun Takami's Battle Royale right now. I like Dexter and Sons of Anarchy, but I'm a season behind on both, so don't ruin anything!
I'm listening to: The Wombats, Imagine Dragons, Gaslight Anthem, Grouplove, Of Monsters and Men, Deer Tick, Angus and Julia Stone, and Boy& Bear, as of late, but my tastes run from punk-rock (Bad Religion) to classical (Mozart), and David Bowie is one of my favorite humans. The most recent shows I've attended: The Family Crest (see. them. live.), The Palma Violets, The Joy Formidable, Agent Orange, Trampled by Turtles, The Offspring, The Shins, Tegan & Sara, Florence and the Machine, and Deer Tick.
I love movies; anything by the Cohen Brothers, or Quentin Tarantino and pretty into Christoph Waltz at the moment. No Country For Old Men, True Romance, Django, Machete, Stranger than Fiction, The Hurt Locker, Safety Not Guaranteed, Pulp Fiction, Argo, Amadeus, Tropic Thunder, The Princess Bride (along with the rest of the 80's classics) ....and Exit Through the Gift Shop.

Books/Movies/Music- I know that's three things, but it's all in the art category so I'm counting it as one.
Google- how else will would I win all my google battles?!
Adventure- can't have good stories and random, fun experiences without it!
Grill- the kind you cook on. Back off gentlemen, if I need your help I'll ask you to set the table ;-)
Camera- My G-12 is easily one of my favorite possessions.

Everything. My brain will not stop. Sometimes I get lost in there. Oh, and water slides.

I Just moved here, so probably wandering around somewhere trying to figure out which bus to get on. (I'm getting better though!)
