I'm from a far away land and have been in New York for 12 years. I have a brand strategy, design and innovation consultancy, and love being an entrepreneur in this climate. I need the outdoors and love to get out of the city. Surfing (I'm terrible) snowboarding, hiking and esp. great BBQ with friends time. In the city, I love live music, art shows, great food and wine (I also really enjoy cooking), I'm semi addicted to ping pong, love film (old and new). I truly believe this is the best city on Earth.

I definitely have my faults. I should smile more, and listen with more conviction. I am working on it.

I can be hard on people – I expect a lot – but I am always fair. I am old enough and ugly enough to know what I want. Hopefully I am humble enough to know when I'm wrong and work on being better. That hasn't always been the case I must admit.

I have great friends to whom I am very thankful and very loyal. I love few things more than a dinner party surrounded by great friends, drinking a good bottle of red and discussing the state of our times or playing various games.

I don't have a dog, but would love a Rhodesian Ridgeback one day – when I get the dream house by the sea. Which sea I could not tell you.

I'm looking for someone infectious (in a good way). Someone who will get under my skin and stay there. Simple and complex as that.

Thumb wrestling. Or as we call it, pee-knuckle. I'm the current world champion and am still undefeated throughtout my professional career. I have big thumbs.
