I love nature and enjoy being outside, but I am not really sporty. I like hiking with good company. A friend and I have recently decided to try to go at least a few times a month, and ideally once a week. Anywhere I get to be around great rocks and/or trees makes me very happy. I also love being around/on wate. I enjoy doing Pilates as far as more typical exercise goes.
Personal growth is really important to me. It's a huge part of who I am. I grew up around a lot of personal growth work. I took my first workshop when I was 13. I have studied with the Human Awareness Institute (HAI), Insight Seminars, and PAX Programs. Currently I am most involved with PAX, although HAI has a big presence in my family. I am looking to find someone who has worked on themselves as well. Someone who understands the importance of self love and acceptance. Who feels like they know who they are, while also being aware that it is a never ending process and we are always getting closer to the next approximation. It is something that is important to who I am and I would like to be able to share it with my partner.
I have often been described as pragmatic, pedantic, and conscientious. And a bit too literal for my own good.
I am an artistic/ crafty person. My hobby of choice is making amigurumi (crocheted stuffed animals), I have also been breaking out into making creative scarves. I recently completed a bacon and eggs scarf for my brother and am currently working on a super mario mushroom one :)
I am a little bit nerdy. I generally just say I'm nerd friendly. I have a lot of nerdy friends. I like the comic book movies, used to read Manga, enjoy going to cons sometimes (anime expo is my current fav), and play some video games. I only really play Nintendo DS stuff. Recently I've played pokemon and animal crossing.
I would say that I am definitely a bit California hippy, new age, woo-woo. My whole family pretty much is. I have a branch down here and a branch up in the Pacific Northwest. What I mean by this is things like holistic/naturopathic health, organic food, liberal views, working with energy, and a kind of universal spirituality.
My friends call me a hippy witch because I'm spot on when I read tarot. Despite the universe's gift, though, I'm pretty down to earth, logical and easygoing.
