My self-summary
Soulful and subversive seeker of simple pleasures in multiple forms.

Big lover of nature and advocate of social justice. Seeing the craziness, observing it without getting caught up in it all :-)
What I’m doing with my life
For the last four years I've been working for myself as a writer/editor, which I love because my boss lets me get away with murder.

I'm plotting to escape the rat race and have begun the mission. Working part time for a homelessness charity and will soon be living in a caravan in rural Essex learning to grow food and make things.

I love to be creative and help people, to give marginalised people a voice through words and film.

My free time is spent seeing friends, at conscious parties/sound and energy healing events or at home messing about (guitar, reading, meditating or maybe painting, blethering with housemates or dancing round the living room). I don't like TV. I'd much rather play music. Oh and I'm learning to sew and make some cool stuff to wear or sell. And renovate furniture.

Still like to party...good funk and soul or psytrance will make me move. Especially outdoors.

Looking for someone to spend beautiful times learning, laughing, growing and exploring. Sitting around campfires, sleeping in forest yurts. Creating, dreaming.
I’m really good at
Being honest
The first things people usually notice about me
My big eyes with extra-large pupils?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Funk, Ninja Tune, psytrance, breakbeat, hip hop, Motown, soul, folk, old blues (Robert Johnson etc), afrobeat and african funk.
Psytrance. Especially low tempo.
Flamenco and folk. Acoustic guitar.
Disco, but not the cheesy stuff. Psychedelic funk like Black Merda. 1960s and 70s rock. Woodstock era.

Foreign arthousey films although not seen any in ages.

Charlie Brooker. Documentaries about nature, quantum physics or music.
The six things I could never do without
Imagination, guitar, hats, music, a pen, adventure.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Living life with kindness and compassion. The mysteries of the universe. Creative ventures.
On a typical Friday night I am
Dancing around the kitchen or on my way to a little festival somewhere.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I used to fancy Dogtanian when I was a little thing. It must have been the floppy ears. And the sword.
You should message me if
You are kind, lovely and soulful. And you have integrity.
