I am intelligent, thoughtful, and unsure of what else..

My Self-Summary

It seems like, as I look at profiles on this site, if people were really all as intense in person as their profiles would suggest, I would be horrified of everyone. It's just strange because it gives everyone this air of "I consist of so much STUFF" as opposed to being just an ordinary person. With that in mind, I'll try not to horrify anyone. And if I do, let me know.

I'm a nice guy... I'm not that great at selling myself so, bear with me... I am kind of quiet at first, but I'd like to think I'm relatively interesting when you get to know me.

Umm, I like travelling, and Theatre, and have a particular interest in Finland... I live on a horse farm... When I host a party I'm probably quietly in the corner on my computer running the music (Aww Cliche! oh well!) Good? Good.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently going into 2nd year of University for Playwriting.
Hopefully one day I'll be a playwright and/or a sketch comic.

I’m really good at

Writing, particularly plays, Acting, Various Video Games, umm... Scrabble? I'm okay at playing guitar, and... singing?...

I'm trying to think of weird things... Oh, I'm also pretty good at finishing writing projects the night before their deadline, and still doing obscenely well... Umm, I can juggle, and when I was younger I learned how to use Devilsticks really well, haha.

The first things people usually notice about me

It depends who they see me around. If they see me around my close friends, they'll probably notice my sense of humour. However, if they meet me in an unfamiliar group of people, they probably won't notice me at all.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Favourite Books: Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, Animal Farm by George Orwell, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, The Chrysalids by John Wyndham, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand (I'm not an objectivist though... or... 'rand-ian' or whatever you'd call it... Just... just sayin'...)

Movies: Most Zombie movies. The Edukators. The Wall. Pulp Fiction. Shaun of the Dead. Dr. Strangelove. Superbad. Kill Bill 1 & 2. Wristcutters. 28 Days Later. 28 Weeks Later...

I guess I'll put a couple TV shows too: Doctor Who, Six Feet Under, Saturday Night Live, Star Trek, Seinfeld, Clone High, Futurama, Daria, The Simpsons, Family Guy...

Music: Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Neutral Milk Hotel, Metric, Emily Haines & the Soft Skeleton, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, A Silver Mt. Zion, Pink Floyd, Cake, The Unicorns, Simon & Garfunkel, NWA, Spoon, The Tragically Hip, Nirvana, Marcy Playground, Beck, Daftpunk, Apples in Stereo, Neil Young, Johnny Cash, Feist, Regina Spektor, Ratatat, Mogwai ... Lots of other stuff as well.

Food: Lots of stuff... Lots of sandwiches. Soup as well. I'm a big fan of soup.

The six things I could never do without

Umm, kay.
1. Music and something to play it on
2. Family
3. Paper and Pencil (or a computer...)
4. A Guitar
5. At least one genuinely cool person.
6. Theatre of some sort...

Haha, there's lots of stuff I wouldn't LIKE to do without.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Tonnes of things... Ridiculous things, Play and Sketch ideas... Usually I think of play ideas and never get around to writing them...

I find I spend a lot of time thinking in general... About the world and our place in it, life, God, my surroundings, school, what's going on in my head, blah blah blah, y'know, the usual...

That, and what I'd do in the event of a Zombie Apocalypse... In reality, I devote far too much time to Zombie-related ponderings...

On a typical Friday night I am

Hmm, percentages would suggest I'd be at home doing nothing. If not that, I'd be hanging out with close friends at a small party, or something like that.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Umm, I dunno. Private in what sense? This is tough...

Oooh, I know: I find both freckles and braces kinda cute. Oh, and I hate clubs and dancing in said clubs...

There. Just ask me if you'd like to know anything else, I suppose.

You should message me if

you would like to..? Feel free.

My apologies if I don't message back. It's probably because I'm not checking my inbox, or that the concept of responding in itself is too daunting and scary. Don't be offended!
