My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a tree huggin', Jesus lovin', Chicago native.

Liberal Progressive, Utopian even. Outgoing, extrovert that loves to get out and about, when I come across something or someone that sparks my interests. My usual demeanor is a good one and I work at maintaining a smile throughout the day. I don't allow myself to get hung up on minor things. I like to recycle, volunteer, try to adhere to a greener lifestyle and afford eating organic whenever possible but come'on.. I'm human and will cave for the typical grocery stores..

A quick detail about quality of life I should add. Since 2014 I've made a lot of changes. For instance, although my profile says social drinker, I drink far less than a social drinker might. This is merely because I'm paying more attention to what goes into my body. Choosing to workout more often, go on walks, be active and live a healthier lifestyle. I like to cook with fresh ingredients, will cook organic whenever possible. (Which is usually.)

And lastly, I love to learn new stuff. Whether it's cooking, DIY, figuring stuff out, trying my hand at a new hobby, etc. I strive to learn something new everyday or research some topic that's been in the back of my mind.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working it. Really. I work in property management I'm kind of a veteran at it. I'm also planning on making a switch to public relations and SM marketing.

I'm passing the time trying to do as much as I can. Learning, reading and doing. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and commit myself to philanthropy. Currently back in school to finish my undergrad and a couple semesters away!
Also dabbling with the idea of a small business attempt in organics.

In the last year my folks had gone through some surgeries & related health issues which left them in a place of needing assistance & support to get them back to their daily lives. As the oldest I stepped up, helping them with their recovery process. I mention this solely because I realize some daters out there want a (possible) significant others' undivided attention. At present, part of my routine is getting them back to 100%.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Catchphrase and maintaining healthy relationships with close friends and family. Carving pumpkins, discovering new and useful apps. DIY projects. I Google & watch how to videos often. So, for instance I might learn to re-tile a washroom floor one morning or make chocolate pudding with avocados in the evening. Lately I've been mastering cooking and those that have sampled think it's pretty tasty.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Earnest smile, dynamic beard cut and awesome at hugs. It's probably my wide shoulders, people like bear hugs.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I played an instrument growing up so my music tastes are all over. Music is a high for sure and depending on my mood I could go from classical to dubstep to latin jazz to ?? I like many types of genres of movies, I often watch independent or foreign flicks & documentaries as well.

I'm a self proclaimed proletariat foodie. I like trying to score decently priced tickets to local concerts, attending Riot fest and other local concerts and more.

Lastly, I've been cooking A LOT more. I make pizzas with my own sauce, soups, stews, roasts, I'll dabble in ethnic cooking and at times try my hand at baking and desserts. I have a "brocipe" or two that would blow your mind.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Clean water
Lip balm
Android
beard trimmer
motivation
my sneaks
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why some people find it hard to say please or thank you. Also why some humans yawn like lions and bears without covering their mouth.

Modern relationships and the communication we've lost due to technology. I dig getting to know a woman (during the getting to know you phase) via the old fashioned means. Talking in person or by phone. Constant texting and or instant messaging doesn't clue me in to the inflections or moods revealed in real conversation. I like telling a woman I want to see her and receiving the nonverbal feeling that she too has interest. Additionally getting a call on some random day or a voicemail from a significant other with a simple "hello" means far more than a text with an electronic smile.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
A bit of studying, then headed to a friends house for a gathering of libations and games. Or trying a new dive or restaurant.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Online dating is boring. I prefer meeting people in person. Mixers & singles events can be fun! Ya know if you were game we could meet at one and if we hit it off, start our first date immediately after.
On another note, I usually meet new friends at these types of events.
