For the past 18+ years I have been working as a therapist, mostly in a group practice. I enjoy helping others in every possible way I can, which was the main reason I chose this career. I am an avid animal lover and have had dogs my whole life. When I first went to college my goal was to be a veterinarian, although I soon realized I love animals way too much.
I have a wonderful circle of friends and I tend to be more on the extroverted side. I'm easy to get along with...or so I've been told ;-). Exercise is important to me and I get to the gym at least 3x/week. I'd love to have a workout buddy ;-)
I love to travel...whether it's a day trip to DC, NYC, a cruise, a long weekend in Vegas, a trip across the country or anything in between!, I enjoy seeing and experiencing new places, new activities...especially with that special someone. I love the warm weather and the beach...not much into the cold at all...unless it's for snuggling by the fire with some hot chocolate :-).
What I'm looking for: a man who is able to communicate, is romantic/affectionate, has a good sense of humor (I love to laugh), intelligent (but not necessarily book smart), wants to be with me as much as I want to be with him & isn't afraid to show/say it, and MUST love animals, especially dogs!
***Please note, I prefer men who are clean shaven. If you have facial hair you don't want to part with, we may not be a good match. Also, although there are quite a few men from the Northern VA area who caught my eye, that distance is a bit too much for me at this point. Montgomery County and Frederick are my limits right now.
Falling in love is easy...staying in love requires work. That's why relationships are often compared to a full-time job, so don't apply if you are not ready -). Dr. Seuss so eloquently put it when he said, "You know when you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams".
