My self-summary
The three things that will make any relationship stand the test of time: trust, affection, and great sex.

I find a lot of women I'm interested in are seeking a man with passion for something (to include her, of course!) Most people don't think of me as expressive based off of how mellow I am, but that's simply because I'm not in the line of work that warrants my personality. There's not much to be passionate about ordering supplies for a naval vessel.

What I am passionate about is easy to express. I love the Cleveland Browns. This will never change. I love my cat, my sister, and my niece (in no particular order.) I love science and nature and the incredible discoveries we continue to achieve every day as a species even as miniscule as we are in the great scheme of it all. Lastly, I love being in love, and I'm finally ready to open myself up to a woman deserving the good, the bad, the weird, and everything else about me. One of my greatest desires is one-upping my parents with a loving family even stronger than the one they raised.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently a logistics specialist in the Navy. Basically, I order parts and material for the ship as well as maintaining hazmat, financials, and mail. I don't plan on staying in the Navy after my first term, but if the right shore duty is offered to me then I just might bite. The pursuit of an education and developing the foundation of a family was why I joined. Some people I know can do this successfully while being enlisted, but I just don't feel that's best for me.

Assuming I get out of the Navy I will use my GI Bill toward college. So with this financial assistance I've narrowed it down to three fields I would enjoy pursuing:

Science - teaching, field studies, lab tests, whatever I'm capable of reaching to be honest. The possibilities are endless, and I'm not so prideful to admit there's a lot out there I don't yet understand.

Logistics - easiest shit in the world.

Sound Engineering - something of a dream after spending time as an amateur bassist with my best friends from high school.
I’m really good at
Honesty, affection, whistling, working with others, being a dork, relaxing, climbing trees, procrastinating, getting shit done after procrastinating, listening to music, being open minded, underestimating my abilities, working hard, laughing at myself.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've always been characterized as a mellow, down-to-Earth sort of fellow. Also, I've been told I have pretty blue eyes once you finally see them under those perpetually-stoner eye lids. It doesn't help I have astigmatism in my right eye which causes me to squint even more.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Authors: Steven Brust, S.E. Hinton, T.A. Barron, Gene Brewer, most books from the Barnes & Nobles Classics collection, and once I get around to reading the Song of Ice and Fire series I'll put George R.R. Martin on the list. I love the different Spider-Man comic series as well, and I buy every new Walking Dead graphic that comes out.

Movies: Braveheart, League of Their Own, Spider-Man (original and Amazing), K-PAX, Half-Baked, Old School, Billy Madison, Seven Samurai, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Step Brothers, School of Rock, Die Hards, Lethal Weapons, Fox and the Hound, Lion King, Feival Goes West, Toy Story, Drunken Master, The Samurai Trilogy, oh screw it there're too many.

TV Shows: The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Simpsons, Friends, Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, Dragon Ball, Bill Nye, Penn & Teller's Bullshit, King of the Hill, Home Improvement, Boy Meets World, Salute Your Shorts, All That!, Arrested Development, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, NFL Network, ESPN, STO (Indians baseball), Pawn Stars, Storage Wars.

Music: Modest Mouse, Chili Peppers, Built To Spill, Incubus, Weezer, Cloud Nothings, Rush, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Death Cab For Cutie, Interpol, The National, Arcade Fire, Silversun Pickups, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Bob Seger, Genesis (before Peter Gabriel left), System Of A Down, Alien Ant Farm, Cold War Kids, Born Ruffians, The Morning Benders, Blink-182, Beach Fossils, Boxer Rebellion, Matt & Kim, Atlas Genius, The Shins, Mumford & Sons, Bloodhound Gang, Neil Young, Liquid Tension Experiment, Explosions In The Sky, Billy Talent, and many, many more.

Food: I like food. Doesn't really matter. I'll tell you my favorites once we grab a bite to eat. Otherwise, I'm really not a picky eater. I love home cooked meals the most.
The six things I could never do without
1. Music
2. Water (not being a smart ass. I love water these days)
3. My imagination
4. My sister
5. The Cleveland Browns (Don't message me if you're a Ravens fan)
6. My cat
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Myself honestly. I'm a bit of an introvert until I find someone I truly care for. I'm usually pretty considerate of others with disregard of my own feelings, but normally I think about how different things affect me.

I'm big on science and creative arts even if my memory does me the disservice of screwing up my matter-of-fact know-how.

And a huge portion of my brain is consumed by the Cleveland Browns. Like, I could spend 2-3 hours reading up on the Browns at any given moment. It is what it is.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't have typical Fridays due to being in the Navy. However, if I'm not working, deployed, or underway, I'm probably either chilling in my room drinking in the peace of mind of music, sports, or books, or I could be hangin out with friends playin games or at a bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was a freshman in high school I was in the locker room before gym class going pee. Well I was spacing out looking at the wall or ceiling just taking care of business. When I was finished I raised my sweatpants only to notice I had pissed all over my leg. The fold in the sweats from pulling them down got in the way of my stream. These were my only gym clothes so I either had to switch into my jeans and get yelled at for not participating or keep the sweats on and get yelled at for pissing on myself. I decided to keep the sweats on because I thought it was funny.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–30
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
You understand chivalry may not be dead, yet you also realize you're just as capable of pressing the message button as I am.

Also, I feel I need to make it clear. I'm currently deployed in Bahrain until spring of 2015. I'm not here to take advantage of anyone. Honestly, I've kind of tapped out on my interests on this site, but I guess I'm such a hopeless romantic that I'll use whatever means necessary to seek out naturally beautiful women just so I can tell them so. If you get that kind of message from me I hope you realize it's because I actually mean it rather than me just trying to hound dog on your body.
