NYC’s not the easiest place to find your match, but the best things in life rarely are, so there's no giving up. I have a big, wonderful, family and awesome friends. When it all gets too much, they’re able to lift me up (or bring me back down), depending on the situation at hand. I’m known as the Queen of Optimism because I always look at the glass half full, which is not to say I’m not realistic. My buddies tend to think my optimism annoying at times, but I believe it’s a good trait to have. And deep down, I know they do too.
Cooking, and eating, is a fav of mine but it's always more fun to cook for/with someone else. Then again, so much is better with someone else - long talks, long walks, lengthy kisses... you see my point here. Passionate about very many things including writing, animals and dancing.
My match would be a guy who knows the importance of, and values communication, as well as sees the joy in having a sense of humor cuz' I laugh, a lot.:) A "closet" Indiana Jones perhaps as I need a travel buddy too. Particularly not one of the female variety (heaven knows I have enough of those). Just hoping to find that guy who's looking for that girl to have new adventures with (and hey, maybe fall in love along the way).Someone passionate, confident, and with a kind spirit. Who feels that being single is not a bad thing, but being in a relationship is better somehow... Make sense?
I've learnt from experience that love breaks all the rules and doesn't always "look good on paper" so I always try to keep an open mind. Hey, your terrible, hyena-sounding, ear drum breaking, singing in the shower might just be the glue. Relationships definitely aren’t all fun and games, but I can guarantee that we’re going to laugh a lot more than everybody else.:)
