I am an opsimath, lethologic, and not lexiphantic.

My Self-Summary

I can't abide this part, so I'm just not going to do it. Ok? K. Oh, they're requiring more, so here you are: I'm not one for inane chit-chat, as you can tell from my summary.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm back in school, working hard to get out for good! It's not that I don't love learning (because I do love learning - maybe too much) it's just that the Institution of Higher Learning is more drama than I prefer. Just give me the book, let me read it!

I'm also working to preserve analog photography. I think that analog photography is shear alchemy (inorganic chemistry is pretty much based on alchemy, and photography often involves lots of salt and/or carbon, so do the math.)

I’m really good at

Learning on my own, photography (not digital) and making snide comments. I seem to be really good at the snide comments thing.

The first things people usually notice about me

I dunno. The hair; it's got to be the hair.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

That's like asking me which of my children I love the most. I may not want any, but the analogy holds.

For books, this is what I've got: Goodreads

The six things I could never do without

Books, internet access, music, good company, my passport, and light-sensitive chemicals, (though I have lived without some of those things at one point in time or another.)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

...everything. Really, my brain doesn't know when to stop. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's not.

On a typical Friday night I am

Home, catching up on things I let go during the week.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I adore sodium thiosulfate - the stuff is magical! Potassium ferricyanide isn't bad either.

You should message me if

You think we'd make a good pair.
