My self-summary
A lady who is sure of my own mind, who enjoys social outings just as much as relaxing at home with a glass of wine. I am attracted by passion, intelligence and ambition, but good manners and even a spot of chivalry will always go down well with me. Selling my soul to the world of Advertising at present, but when I get to escape the office I enjoy consuming food and drink (all sorts), attending varied and numerous gigs/festivals, and the odd decent film never goes amiss (both odd and decent are appreciated).

I am feisty, intelligent, and warm-hearted, known to be spontaneous when the will (and money) so allows. Now, for that next tattoo...

'There is a place. Like no place on Earth. A land full of wonder, mystery, and danger! Some say to survive it: You need to be as mad as a hatter.' Alice in Wonderland
What I’m doing with my life
Brixton-dwelling, finding ways to make the weekends so much fun they carry me through to the next.
I’m really good at
Being literate (thankfully), speaking my mind, making people feel at ease but also keeping them on their toes, letting my eyes do the talking, multi-tasking and procrastinating, exuding an air of confidence when I am feeling anything but, and drinking Bloody Marys...
The first things people usually notice about me
Quite possibly that I have nicked your drink for a cheeky sip on the dance floor. Not bad manners, honestly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Ian McEwan as an author in general is great, particularly 'The Cement Graden' and 'Enduring Love'. 'Little Children by Tom Perrotta, Byron's 'Don Juan', John McGregor's 'If Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things' is poetic brilliance... Virgina Woolf... Orwell's '1984'... 'Lolita'... 'We Need to Talk About Kevin'... Angela Carter's 'The Bloody Chamber'... Vernon God Little. The Life of Pi.. The Picture of Dorian Gray... Hope by Glen Duncan.

Movies: Magnolia. Closer. True Romance. Dead Man's Shoes. Edward Scissorhands. Baz Luhrmann's 'Romeo and Juliet' and recently 'The Great Gatsby'. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Bully. Birthday Girl. Labyrinth. Y Tu Mama Tambien. 9 Songs. Zoolander. Wedding Crashers. A Beautiful Mind. American Beauty. C.R.A.Z.Y. Junebug. The Libertine. Clueless. Cruel Intentions. Secretary. Little Miss Sunshine. A Clockwork Orange. Perfume. The Last Kiss. American Psycho. Lost in Translation. Annie Hall. The Notebook. 500 Days of Summer. Stranger Than Fiction. Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Drive. Catfish. The Way Way Back. Place Beyond the Pines.

TV Shows: Peep Show. Six Feet Under. True Blood. (HBO creations come out top). Mad Men (Advertising y'all). The Wire (on occasions). Recently Game of Thrones has slightly obsessed me... The L Word.

Food: A wide variety, depending on mood and time-scale of eating. From sushi to pizza, boiled egg and soldiers to a hunk of meat. Chinese cuisine is lush, and Greek also (although maybe I am slightly biased there). Favourite current food trend = brunch.

Music: wide-ranging but extremely important to me. Can't be bothered to list all sorts of genres or particular favourites - just ask. If you don't enjoy switching on 6Music, we are probably not going to get along.
The six things I could never do without
Food (all types in many forms), iPhone, friendship, temptation, my diary (organisation-wise) and honesty.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-How successful/unsuccessful I am in relation to my age and expectations people may have of said age
-What next?
-Places I'd like to visit around the globe
-Whether drinking really is worth the inevitable 2-day hangover
-Pleasure and pain
-Restaurants I'd like to dine at
-Why so many people on here have photos with them alongside cats...
On a typical Friday night I am
Resting in preparation for a heavy Saturday night. If not, then having a couple of drinks with mates or colleagues and/or going out for dinner. The usual, right?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a bit of a thing for James Corden... It's the sense of humour. Really.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi girls
  • Ages 26–38
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
a) you can use reasonably correct grammar and punctuation in your sentences, b) you enjoy asking and being asked questions, c) you know how to keep time, I'm afraid lateness is no good, and, d) you aren't adverse to taking control/being in charge/making plans. I may be dominant in some ways, but it gets boring all the time, so challenge me.
