My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I guess this is where I'm either supposed to sing my own praises or try to sum up my own personality with some kind of objectivity. But I don't think I can do that, so here are just the proverbial facts: I've recently returned to Los Angeles after having been away in DC for about two years. I'm originally from Connecticut (near NYC) but have lived mostly in LA since 1996. I'm a musician, a writer/proofreader/copy editor, and a photographer, in that order of importance to me. I'm a bit shy, but I open up around people with whom I have good personal chemistry, or after I've had a drink or two. I like to think I'm a fairly bright guy, but obviously I'm dumb enough to have carelessly used my own damned name as my Okcupid user name—something that apparently no one else does—and too lazy to delete my profile and start over again.

...the foregoing suggests that we might enjoy a conversation over a drink rather than staring awkwardly at the floor trying to make some kind of small talk.
