My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! I'm Bryan, and I'm a transplant from Texas. I have been in Portland for two and a half years now, and yet there is still so much about the city that I have yet to uncover. I'm looking for a fun and interesting girl to explore this (relatively) new city of mine with. Are you her?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm completing my residency -- the job definitely has its ups and downs, but most days, I feel very fortunate to be able to do the things I do!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
You know, to be honest, I don't think I've ever really excelled at any one thing in particular. I'm more of the jack of all trades, master of none variety. I suppose that makes me good at always being up for trying new things!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told it's my warm and kind demeanor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Dune.

Movies: There actually aren't very many movies that I'll watch again and again, but as a genre, I like comedies and scary movies.

TV Shows: I've recently gotten into cooking competition shows, like Chopped and Cutthroat Kitchen.

Music: Matthew Mayfield, Fuel, Lifehouse.

Food: Anything home-cooked or from a food cart!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:

1.) My friends and family (though this one really is a given)
2.) My passport
3.) My spatula
4.) My sense of humor
5.) My ability to count
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can be a better person. It's not that I think I'm a bad person or anything, but there is always room for growth, right?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I recently took up a boxing/mixed martial arts class on Fridays. Other than that, my Fridays are a mixed bag--dinner with friends, movie night, board game night, checking out new events in town.

A couple of my fellow residents and I made a pact to try something new each month--so far, this has included a Broadway in Portland show, a summer concert in the park, and bungee jumping (though I suppose these have not always been on a Friday night, hah).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I kinda sorta like that new Taylor Swift song.

You are a like-minded person. Or even if you aren't. Variety is the spice of life, after all! Education is pretty important to me, and a college degree and a job are a must. A passion for travel, college football, and hockey are definite pluses! Above all though, I'm looking for someone who is fun, thoughtful, and confident.
