My self-summary
I think bad grammar is a turnoff.

I don't take like too seriously. I'm often a bit silly and being overly cynical all the time isn't me at all.

I'm allergic to wheat, seafood, potatoes and a number of other things, so I'm exploring the options left to me. I'm moving towards having a Paleo diet, which is quite a new experience.

I have ADHD so, I do better with bulleted lists than long paragraphs.

I recently read Brené Brown's book "Daring Greatly" after watching her TED talk, and I'm actively trying to live wholeheartedly, which is a lot more difficult than it sounds. Ask me if you want to know ore about it. (Or watch her TED talk here: http://www.ted.com/talks/brene_brown_on_vulnerability.html)
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to live life to its fullest (How's that for pithy?)

About a week before my most recent birthday I had a conversation with a friend, and during the course of it she asked "How have you never seen that?" (referring to the movie Field of Dreams). Well, I've been asked that question so many times in my adult life that I decided to do something about. On my birthday, I decided to make a life initiative to watch a new movie every week. So far, I've been fulfilling this, and have been so grateful for my expanding horizons. I've attempted to rotate between new movies (in theatres), classic movies, and then just random movies that my friends have recommended. This has lead me to watch some incredible, and also some pretty awful, films, but it's definitely been a worthwhile endeavor and one I would not have done if I hadn't made specific intentions to do it.
*** As an addendum to this, I did manage to watch 83 movies over the year. I think since I had such great success with the life initiative that I will keep it going.
I’m really good at
I'd like to think that I have a way with words. I have a pretty prodigious vocabulary and I know how to use it.

I also really like getting organized. IKEA, The Container Store most office supply stores are better than candy stores for me. Often, I will spend a day helping my friends clean/organize rooms in their houses.

I'm also a really good listener. I really like being there for the people I'm close to.
The first things people usually notice about me
My laugh. I laugh a lot and it's very genuine, distinct, and a little loud (apparently).
