My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm not looking for a relationship right now. Just friends. Really.

For me, I'm an exceedingly simple person; I like what I like (which is most things), and I dislike what I dislike (which is few things..in fact it's rather rare of me to go so far as to really dislike something xD). I try my very best to be a good human, and it comes from a genuine place so hopefully I get a gold star for effort. That being said, I do have a pretty dry sense of humor, and my sarcasm can sometimes shocks even me, though it's all meant in good fun. Just be able to take a joke, I know I can. :)

I like over dressing, and talking properly... I recently found out can be misconstrued as intimidating and uptight...which was rather shocking. People tell me to "relax" a lot, but don't really know what they mean....I'm always really relaxed, laid back, and I'm pretty mellow by nature. I'm comfortable in my skin.

I'm very blunt and usually the first person to voice my thoughts. I never hold back in what I'm thinking if you ask, and I appreciate when someone can do the same for me.
I never mean any harm with my words or actions, I just say what I feel is clear and direct. So if I say something that rubs you the wrong way, I probably didn't mean it the way you took it.

I have a passion for the sciences, the universe is insurmountably beautiful on levels no body really seems to see (which has been getting to me recently I think). My heroes are Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, and Neil Gaiman. My favorite color changes with my mood, but there's a special place in my heart for a deep purple.
I think 24/7, I don't know how to stop, but wouldn't want to stop even if I had the choice. I love to think, it's one of my favorite things to do. Random thoughts, what if scenarios, that shiny thing on the floor, memories, articles, books, movies, TV, school, people, anything.

I rarely ask rhetorical questions; I figure why would I ask if I didn't want the answer? (If you can answer that, by all means message me lol I'd like to know what you think)
I ask the most random questions you'll probably ever here, and make the most bizarre remarks and observations you'll probably be confused by.

The most recent observations: "The cheese on this Pizza feels the way I'd imagine a zombie's skin to feel like." <--that wasn't meant as a bad thing, just a way of quantifying a peculiar sensation lol I ate 4 pieces of that pizza.

Things like chivalry, integrity, intelligence, curiosity, versatility, humor, loyalty, and genuineness are important to me, and I've devoted myself to emulating these qualities.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Pet kittens till they purr, maybe keep a bird, always keep my word. I cry at sad movies, and laugh till it hurts.

If you know what that references, cool lol It's like my theme song.

Just moved back to California to go to school and get to know my family again. Still trying to get my bearings. I'm gonna go to school to be a science teacher since thats my passion. Ideally id like to teach college level because I don't want to have to deal with parental consent for field trips lol
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting weird looks from people, and getting them to think in different ways. I'm also pretty good at not knowing about famous actors and celebrity news stuff (it's vastly uninteresting).
I'm good at a lot of things, but I'm great at thinking, imagining, and being spontaneous and randomly creative.

Also, I'm really good at saying things and making offers that people take the wrong way...like offering to share my bed with a friend who wants some company doesn't mean sex! xD
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
How I choose my words I'd imagine.

List of some Max Statements and their Translation:
~You have remarkable facial geometry. - it means I think your face is pretty.
~I like your head; it's soft. - it means that the shape of your head is desirable, and your hair is soft.
~This tastes/ feels like (insert seemingly ridiculous/ possibly the grossest thing you've ever heard). - doesn't mean I don't like it, that's just how I explain my perceptions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I don't read books very often, I'm pretty specific...but I firmly believe that Neil Gaiman's The Sandman is one of the greatest literary works this planet has to offer. It saved my life once.

Movies, I have soo many favorites. All the Star Trek Movies (First Contact is my favorite among those favorites lol), What Dreams may Come, Alien, the Decent 1 and 2, Cabin in the Woods, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, and many more.

Shows; Weeds, Glee, Desperate Housewives, Star Trek Voyager (though I'll watch anything Star Trek to get my fix lol), V (which is AWESOME), Heroes, Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex. I'm sure there's a bunch I'm leaving off.

Music; I love Mumford and Sons, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sublime, Audioslave, the Wallflowers, Everlast, The Lacs, Queen, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and a few others. Love 90s, alternative and classic rock. basically if it sounds nice, has meaningful lyrics, and a good beat, then I probably love it. Look up Symphony of Science. It's weirdly awesome.

Food: I'm pretty weird. I'm really picky and don't like most meats. The only meat that I do like are chicken nuggets (or regular chicken if its dowsed in lemon and over cooked), hot dogs, and the occasional burger. Also, if Bacon was a man, he'd probably be my dirty little secret.
I love fruits (with the exception of tomatoes...though I'll eat them on a sandwich or salad lol), and like most vegetables.

Basically I'm always asked if I'm a vegetarian...NO I'm not lol I'm just really picky. I'm open to trying new foods though, as long as it doesn't look or smell completely nasty, which I'm told will make when I travel the world pretty difficult xD
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Excluding things I need to function properly like food, water, shelter, health etc...
1}My Car
2}Bubble Baths/showers
3}Science
4}Good conversations
5}Mountains
6}Things to do
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
People, places, and things. And science.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching TV, playing a video game, or hanging with friends/ going out and painting the town some ridiculously fun color.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have almost no sex drive anymore; I'm at the point where I'd really just like to doze off while cuddling.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're looking for a friend for the end of the world. Or if your first reaction to me pinning you down and licking your face is to laugh about it.
Or if you can successfully pull off a cowboy hat, wife beater, and tattered jeans.

On a side note, one word responses are a buzz kill. Totally lose interest when those happen. Unless its part of a joke. I love jokes.
