I'm a pretty easy-going guy that gets along with most people. I value intelligence, closeness, authenticity, depth, and a good sense of humor. I'm really sensitive to other people's emotions, and pride myself on being a good listener. A lot depends on my mood - I'm on the edge of 4 different Briggs Meyers personality types (ENFJ, INFJ, ENFP, and INFP). As I mention probably fifteen other times in the questions below, I love to laugh, and I also love to connect with others. I'm a big fan of trying new things, at the same time my work is draining and my alone time is essential to recharge. That usually manifests itself in reading, writing, maybe watching movies.

I'm really observant and almost always in my own head. I'm usually very perceptive and observant, and passionate about some things but pretty blase about others.

I love to write (unless it's about myself... ha), and a short term goal of mine is to finish or rewrite one of my books and self publish. I also love my music and playing what portion of it I can on my guitars. Music helps me get through some really rough times and headbanging is one of the most cathartic things in the world!

I love to learn in general, but I've become a bit of a history nerd and I like learning new foreign languages and about different cultures. I'm a bit of an China-phile. I love loose leaf tea (the good stuff, not the crap you buy from Teavana), enjoy Chinese character calligraphy, and have studied China/Chinese for the last 6 years of my life! I also enjoy Kung Fu and Tai Chi and have been practicing them both since January.

Lastly, God, my family and my friends are the most important things in my life!

I wear a lot of hats, but I'm primarily a researcher and a writer. I also brief a lot and have recently been beought into the management side if things. Work is stressful but also really fulfilling; I'm picking up a lot of valuable skills.

Writing (creatively and work-related), speaking foreign languages, laughing. I tend to be a better listener in a conversation than a speaker; I try to make people feel as comfortable as possible in any situation.

Depends on the evening! Some nights - like tonight - I'm updating my lame OkCupid profile. Other nights I'm out at happy hour or reading a book or writing...

Sometimes I forget my own age. Regardless, I only act my age when I need/want to.
