My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
TL;DR: I'm a young version of Bob Belcher. The sarcasm, the bad jokes, the undeniable sexual appeal. What can I say?

I'm easy going, so I go well both in the laid back on the couch setting and the "let's go places that interest you" departments.

420 enthusiast.

I'm quiet at first and can be slightly awkward, but that fades quickly; well, the quiet part fades anyway.

ISFP, for those interested in Myers-Briggs.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently quit my job as a Retirement Advisor after 2 years and have returned to Penn State to get my second Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. I completed an English Degree in 2012 and I'll be using both of my degrees to get me into game development.

I adopted two Pug/English Bulldog mixes, a brother and sister. They're fucking adorable. They take up a fair amount of my free time when I'm not at work/the gym.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being the sarcastic one in the group.
Calming people down in irrational situations.
I make great smoothies. I feel oddly proud of this.
Plus I pack a mean bowl.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm sarcastic and if I'm comfortable I'll say the first thing that comes to mind (can be a good or bad thing). Also, the flaming red beard is hard to miss.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: A read about a page a minute, making reading for pleasure extremely difficult to me. I tend to enjoy series instead of one shot novel(la)s. I particularly like Fantasy/Sci-Fi. I've been really interested in Sci-Fi since I realized it was more than just "stuff blowing up in space;" Philip K. Dick is really interesting.

Movies: The Hangover, LOTR, Donnie Darko, The Invention of Lying, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, etc.
Shows: Wilfred (seriously, not enough people watch this show), New Girl, The Walking Dead, That 70s Show, Awake, How I Met Your Mother, South Park, Arrested Development, Boy Meets World, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Broad City, Men at Work . I watch SNL weekly.

Overall a big fan of dark comedy, twisted tales that take multiple viewings/readings to catch everything, and all things nerdy.

Music: Say Anything, Kid Cudi, Fall Out Boy, The Hush Sound, Motion City Soundtrack, Cobra Starship, Eminem, Macklemore/Ryan Lewis, the Fray, Mayday Parade, OneRepublic.

Food: I have a weird relationship with food; I rarely get hungry and I have a really small appetite when I do, which means I rarely ever long for a specific food. I like fast food more than I should. Please expand my taste palette.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Constantly readjusting my short term goals to keep my long term goals afloat. Way too many "what if" situations. Fantasizing about my life 10-20 years down the road. Book ideas. Mentally editing the details of my D&D campaign so that my players stop yelling "DM Bullshit" when I finally get the upper hand.

And sex. But I think that's most of us.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually relaxing at home with the puppies, catching up on TV shows from the week and messing around on Reddit/games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm pretty fucking oblivious. It's starting to get embarrassing. Only recently did someone notice and now they keep telling me I'm having (strawberry) blonde moments. This is my life now.

Also that I've been on this site for way too long. In the past year, I think I've had perhaps 4 or 5 people message me first? This site isn't very fun for guys.

you noticed the fact that I don't have "new friends" in my "looking for" section. Serious. Cupid is in the fucking name of this site; I understand if you're looking for new friends, but this is a free dating site and the more people that come in here looking for friends, the less likely the purpose of this website will be achieved... especially since most people on here claiming they're here for conversation are the ones who give one word responses. Engage me, damnit.

You can teach me how to Lucid Dream. Been trying for years with no success.

Also, bonus points to those who message first. I've seen the inboxes of some of my female friends on this site. Guys messaging first means next to nothing on here because those of us who are trying to take the site seriously are lost in a sea of horrible one-liners.

420 friendly, so bonus points for that.
