I have a really interesting job working with the mentally ill. not one day goes by that i don't adore the people i help.

I play roller derby for the DC Rollergirls! We are rounding the end of season so I am bruised as hell, sustained 1 major injury (seperated my A/C--- my right shoulder)for the season and a few minor ones. if you are into ladies with brusies and someone who says on a fairly consistant basis "could you rub _______ pain killer on _______ area." than i am the super women for you.

I have an amazing book collection and if you let me I would talk all day about pretty much anything that has to do with world issues and politics and anything that I think is interesting that I have recently learned.

I am passionate about Africa, HIV, women's reproductive right and sex education and want to go back and live there for a good chunk of time. Its really what i am working towards. Africa is home to me.

I love to cook, but only if I get to do it for someone and even better with someone.
