My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Forget your things, your apartment, your clothes, your car, your job, and your morals. Your friends are all that you can't replace in this life.

And hopefully one of those friends will come bail your drunk, naked hobo ass out of jail, and get you cleaned up. You should really start thinking about some pants.

I live on sarcasm, but don't enjoy seeing others suffer at the hands of it. I am trapped into making people laugh! I cry myself to sleep most nights.

I wish there were 30+ hours in a day so I could go to sleep knowing I hadn't missed something. I am a constantly lapsing sleep addict. I try to quit but it never sticks for more than about 20 hours. I'm trying to get back into cycling, but need some advice on bringing my trek up to date, & info on safe places to cycle in the bay area.

I have been known to fly 350 miles for a good hamburger and milkshake.

I love surreality. I believe that synesthesia can also be created in the works of truly great artists, and experienced by everyone. We stifle/ignore art and creativity far too much in this country.

I love flying sailplanes. Which doesn't really explain why I haven't finished my glider rating, or even flown one in the last couple years. One day I'd like to take just one tow, find some good lift, and just spend all day in a sailplane. Take lunch with me, etc, etc. Not something I'd want to do all the time, but just One More Thing that I'd like to do before too long. The serenity of the world, seen from several miles up in a nearly silent glider, is one of the most beautiful things ever. Ever.

I am a pilot, after having decided to change careers about ten years ago. For the time being, I work on computers. Pays the bills. Not something I'm super thrilled about, but it's good to have a job right now. Holy shit, do I miss the sunrises and sunsets from 40,000'. And how!

I am motion, stillness and thought.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
smothering it in a closet, under a thousand moldy pillows from my grandparents' attic.

I can still hear it, trying to get out, while I try to sleep. It keeps me awake at night.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Flying, understanding people, teaching anything, second-guessing myself, or dropping food as I'm eating it. I've got enough of a fashion sense for others that I should either be gay, or one of three straight clothes designers in the world. I know what works, and what doesn't. Shoes ftw, but not for the fetish reasons, but simply because you can't make an outfit complete unless you've got the right shoes. It just doesn't fucking happen!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My scowl, if I'm not flying. Or, in print, my verbosity. My inability to not say hi to every dog I meet, or the unconscious grin whilst doing so.

Led Zeppelin uber alles. Nirvana. Coltrane (con heroin), Milt Jackson, Beethoven, Mozart, Vivaldi, Portishead, Danny Elfman, Al Green, Curtis Mayfield.
Mozart is perfect. Beethoven is human. By my score (ha), this makes Beethoven better.
I'll pretty much listen to anything, except country. I like bluegrass. Country is not bluegrass. No country.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Sunlight (being outside), vulcanized rubber, music, airplanes, good food, and human contact.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything. Ridiculous things.

What would flowers say if they could talk? Is honey flower-rape, or sweet, sweet lovin? Are cows really stupid, or are they smart enough to not attract unwanted attention?

Why do dreams make so much sense until you wake up?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Reading a book, flying somewhere, or forgetting that I had plans
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll try anything twice.
