My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So, the summary. In general I'm a fairly easygoing person, all though I do have my off days. Happens to the best of us. As far as I'm concerned, normal is a setting on a washing machine/unrealistic ideal/evil plot to bring about the doom of mankind. I try to go out of my way to be kind to the people I meet, and as a general rule you really have to work to get me pissed off with you, although I do have my hot button issues and pet peeves. I can come across as fairly quiet, although that can change depending on the situation and company at hand. I'm very much a creative type and actively work to cultivate my creative skills. As a result my notebooks and I are inseparable companions. Beyond all that I'm not sure what else to say, so I guess if you want to know, just ask!

And, just for the hell of it, here's my Instagram: last_stop_at_minas_ithil
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated with a BA in Archaeology from UNCG, and now I'm plotting out the next part of my life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
So far my skills seem to be mostly in art and writing (with an impressive talent for social awkwardness!), so I guess that'd be your answer!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The red hair, the glasses, the pleasantly deranged expression, or the general palpable aura of impending doom ^_^
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Invisible Cities and Cosmicomics (Italo Calvino), pretty much anything by Anaïs Nin (especially the unexpurgated diaries), The Stranger (Albert Camus)
Movies: Agora, Titanic, Metropolis, The Sacrifice, Henry & June, La Vie en Rose
Music: Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, Alanis Morissette, Florence + the Machine, Natalie Merchant, 10,000 Maniacs (Natalie Merchant era), Imogen Heap, Fleetwood Mac, Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Garbage, Lia Ices, Lana Del Rey, Marina and The Diamonds, Little Scream, Asobi Seksu, Sigur Ros, The Raveonettes, Autumn's Grey Solace
Food: I have a huge weakness for Japanese and Chinese (especially Japanese) cuisine, with Italian, Greek, and Middle Eastern being strong contenders as well.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Art supplies
2. Writing implements
3. The people in my life
4. Caffeine
5. Music
6. Books
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The big contenders would be art, writing/literature, cities (real or imagined), worlds that either exist or have yet to be fabricated, people, the list goes on and on. I'm a bit of a space case I guess ^_^;
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Barring any plans with friends, either at home or out walking.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a little "off", and by that I mean in the sense that I don't always necessarily make sense, and some of my ideas can be a little out there. Now that I think about it though, that's not really all that private, is it?
I'm also something of an anxious type in social situations sometimes, so don't necessarily count on me to make the first move.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Honestly, as long as it's not some crude come-on (it's not necessarily personal I just don't care for being asked for a one night stand right off the bat), whatever you want to message me about is fine. That said, if you're a creative type, writer, scholar, a Maria Bamford and/or Tori Amos fan, and/or share my love of/fascination with cities and marine life (not necessarily in the same instance) then yes, I will have your baby ^_^
