My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been told many times over that I don't uphold peoples first impressions, so before you start clicking into my photos to make snap judgements of my love of suits and blazers and deem me a WASP (okay, I'm a little WASPy), or now that you've taken the time to read this write up, give me a moment.

I don't ever feel like I fit into any one group, which is just fine for me because it has come to mean I fit everywhere. I am comfortable anywhere, and I truly mean anywhere: sporting event, gay bar, lesbian bar, dance club, parents homes, Nebraskan weddings, shooting ranges, dive bars and fine dining restaurants; you can take me anywhere and I'll thrive. My interests are varied and come paired with a childlike curiosity and a lack of pretension that affords me the ability to fit in almost anywhere.

Part of the reason I am on this glorious site is because it's not very often I come across someone who I'm interested in; online dating helps narrow the gap a bit.

On the surface, I'm looking for someone with a creative side, who isn't religious, is outgoing, is nice to mostly everyone, has a sense of humor and a little bit of an edge. Oh! You have to love food. Please, LOVE ALL food. These, though are less important, really I want to spend my time with someone who is passionate about something and works hard towards that end. It is not imperative to me that we share all interests, in fact I'd prefer we didn't. If you challenge me and I value your opinion I'll be on your side for life. I want to date someone who brings out my support. My aunt said something to me a while ago that really stuck, she said she loves my uncle most because he's her greatest cheerleader. I'm looking for someone who makes me their cheerleader.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Work: I'm an architect. I design modern buildings for the public and housing for low-income individuals.

Non-Work: Cooking, Eating and Drinking.

These are my two true passions. I think we undervalue the impact that both the built environment and food has on our happiness. Life is too short for bad design and uninspired food.

Note: I will not date a vegetarian, or someone who won't try food because it's unfamiliar.

Note II: PLEASE, do not write me asking if I really mean this about dating vegetarians, or pescetarians, or flexitarian (yes, this exists) or whatever you've deemed yourself. I want to share a meal with the person I'm dating. I want any family that I may or may not have to share meals. This is very important to me, so you asking me if I'll make an exception belittles this. No vegetarians, no XXXXX-arians.

As Norah Jones says:
"It's him or me that's what he said
But I can't choose between a vegan and a pot head
So I chose you because you're sweet
And you give me lots of lovin' and you eat meat"
Yes, it's about her loving her dog, but the point is valid.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Looking like I'm not listening when I really am.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm tall, I'm loud. Hey, I can't help it, I'm from the East Coast!

Why so many people overuse the word wanderlust here on OKC, and why half of them don't know it is a noun only.

We get it, you're an easy going person who loves music, food and travel. Really though, we will meet and you won't really love food. You'll likely be self prescribed allergic to something; not eat meat off of a bone, or with a face, cause it's "yucky", and will get grossed out when I order the sweetbreads because "we" only eat the prime cuts and stay away from all things offal.
