I relocated to NYC about 1 year from Paris with my work. It was actually my decision, as I love to to hop from countries to countries, to immerse into a culture, discover it, then move to the next one. I've been doing so for the past... 7 years now!
So after the large round of visits of family & friends from Europe, I've decided it was time to meet new people, and make friends outside of work.
I'm rarely on this website, mostly on my rare down time, but hoping to meet new people, with a strong preference on foreigners (to speak English or Spanish in particular!) or someone who's willing to do random activities! I've left my "partner" in crime back in Paris, and would love to meet another great everyday friend -- not just a "let's have brunch at my next availability in 2 weeks!" type of :)
Other than that, I'm a *very* curious individual, so don't be scared if I ask many questions :) Oh! One last thing, be ready to go for a coffee or random activity, after all, it's much better to chat face to face rather than online, no ?
Traveling as much as I can,
Going out with friends,
And often saying yes to most random activities -- that's where the fun is!

Movies: I try to avoid blockbusters, unless they are about sci fi! Otherwise, I like comedies and independent films. But still, a few that marked me: Requiem for a Dream, Jeux d'Enfants, Eternel sunshine of a spotless mind.
TV Shows: some good ones airing currently are: Breaking Bad, Big Bang Theory, Continuum, Futurama & Family Guy.
Note: I don't own a TV and I don't see why one would need any.
Music: mostly house/electro house and raeggeton to go out. I can listen to other styles but I'll admit it is much rarer. Although, I enjoy now and then to go for jazz or a classical concert.
Live Shows: I love theater, I actually used to act and I am considering getting back at it. However, I strongly prefer students/semi-pro plays as I feel like they do put the energy into it. I've often found myself annoyed at national theaters for their laziness and routine acting... I also enjoy other shows as one man shows, ballets. I must confess I've never seen an opera, but I would like too it on.
Food: ah! That's my favorite topic. I eat literally all the time, and if that wouldn't be for cycling all around Paris, I d be rather fat! What kind of food? Anything that's good :) My favorites remain...
- thai: pad thais and green curry
- indian: vindaloo! The spicier, the better
- spanish for cured meats
- japanese: chicken curry katsu, anyone?
- well french of course, raclette being at the top!
I can cook although I've proven to be lazy enough to eat out or at work almost every day...
If you have a good address, I m dying to know it! I even enjoy more chatting over exotic food than boring drinks.

Whever to start my own business
In the US, well, everyone is on a dating site, let me find something else... better, ask!
- you're curious or don't mind being asked questions!
- you've got a good place to eat to try out!
- you know of a good electro house club or feel like clubbing
- you have a very random party/exhibition/activity and don't dare to go alone!
- you're not french, or not 100% french at least!
