My self-summary
Hi, my name's Craig.

I'm a graduate of Digital Animation, with more qualifications in Science than Art, that's somehow ended up an Accounts Manager for a big jewelry importer.

I do my best to keep in touch with my artistic side, mainly through my passion for photography. I used to manage a Photographic Lab. I'm not sure if it's the chemicals in the processor, or the fumes from the waste fluids, but I found Photography really got under my skin. Now I'm not sure I can live without a camera.

I love live music. I have my favorite genres, obviously, but I like to keep an open mind. You'll often find me around the city at various gigs, normally dancing, often photographing, and very, very rarely performing. Also, thanks to the friends I've made at shows, I've started getting back into graphic design with album art and fliers, working for a small indie record label in my spare time.
I’m really good at
Photography. I used to work for Jessops, so a large part of my life has been spent surrounded by cameras, photographers and photography. I like macro, landscape and wildlife best, but also really enjoy band shoots.

Guitar and Bass. I've played for about 9 years. I'm much better at guitar then bass and I've also picked up a little bit of drums over the years too.

I'm a walking encyclopedia. Years of reading, and soaking up random information means that I can recall various facts at any given time.
The first things people usually notice about me
People normally notice my t-shirts first. They're normally of obscure 80's or 90's punk and pop-punk bands. I have a NOFX T-shirt that starts a conversation more or less every time I wear it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite books are Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and anything else by Douglas Adams. Orwell books like Animal Farm and 1984. Jurassic Park, The Lost World and all the JRR Tolkien Books. I also love comic books and graphic novels, mainly Batman, Ultimate Spiderman, Scott Pilgrim and Manga like Trigun and Death Note. Saying that, I don't read as much as I used to.

Typically, I enjoy action movies like Iron Man, The Avengers, Jurassic Park and Lord of the Rings. Most of the Pixar and Studio Ghibli films are amazing. I've also recently started going through IMDB's top 250 films with my Lovefilm and Netflix accounts. This is introducing me to lots of amazing movies and genres I wouldn't normally associate myself with.

My taste of Tv is quite varied. Breaking Bad is amazing. I love animated comedies like South Park, Family Guy and American Dad. I like Sci-Fi and fantasy like Battlestar Galactica and Game of Thrones, as well as a little bit of Anime. I also really enjoy David Attenborough and Prof. Brian Cox documentaries.

I love music. I'm mostly into alternative stuff, including the genres Rock, Punk, Ska, Reggae and a little Folk. My favorite bands are the Descendents, Black Flag, Nirvana, Offspring, Motion City Soundtrack, Social Distortion, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Flogging Molly, New Found Glory and Frank Turner.

I'm also a fan of old Nintendo video games.
The six things I could never do without
Italian food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The potential zombie apocalypse and my escape route/survival strategy (supermarket regional distribution centers. Just sayin'). How I can get back to Italy, song lyrics, science, life, the universe and everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
There's no such thing as a typical Friday. I could be at the cinema, watching a film with friends and pizza or at the pub. My favorite thing to do at the weekend is to pop to Camden/Shepherds Bush/New Cross to see bands play. I'm also a huge fan of music festivals like Reading, BoomTown or Slam Dunk.
