I'm like that one black dude in all the college recruitment and McDonald's ads dishing out high fives and downing McCafe's like crazy.

I work in the city as a producer, among other things, for Blowback Productions (a company that specializes in socio-political documentary filmmaking for HBO). It's a fantastic gig that I'm most grateful to have.

Otherwise, I aspire to create a production company that seeks to tell spirited and invigorating stories that best reflect our ever increasing global media culture, and doggedly pursues new ways for audiences to experience them. Really, I want to find cool ways to tell good stories.

Coming across as if I actually know what I'm talking about. 

Positively brilliant storytellers such as David Simon, Tony Kushner, Zadie Smith, Ingmar Bergman, George Saunders, Hayao Miyazaki, August Wilson, Nicole Krauss, Colum McCann, and Michael Chabon collectively helped in shaping how I make sense of the universe, while providing me inspiration to tell stories out of my many remaining misunderstandings of it.

Music-wise, I'm all about Nina Simone, Arvo Pärt, Jarvis Cocker, The Beatles, Tom Waits, Fela Kuti, Dinah Washington, Otis Redding, Ennio Morricone, Lou Reed, and Barry White to name just a few.

...what classics to discover, in cinema or otherwise. Also, banana pudding. YUM.

I'm suck certified when it comes to board games. Not exactly private, but I hate admitting it. Also Finding Nemo makes me cry and I am NOT ashamed.
