My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
What can I say... Im an alright, pretty cool kind of guy (at least thats what people tell me). I like good tunes, movies, food, drink and friends. I work hard (but dont play as hard as id like to). I like my job(s). I like my friends. I appreciate the good and simple things in life. im not flashy or tied to possessions. Im not impressed by your past nor will i judge you for it. lets talk about the present, whats happening to us now or what could happen in the future. jeez this all sounds so vanilla...

Im bad at small talk. but great at deep involved philosophical or intellectual dialogues. im kinda quiet at first. i might seem aloof about something or someone but just trying to be cool about it. on the inside im probably freaking out. i get nervous in social situations. i like snow and water. i really dont care for cigarette smoke. im tryin to learn to play electric guitar and just started running. ive never been married... thought i wanted to once though. im a backyard astronomer and have always had my head in the stars.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
making the most of it one day at a time.

people always tell me that i remind them of "this guy they used to know" in college or at another job. i seem to have many doppelgangers wandering around.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books... news articles mainly.
i tend to avoid fiction, if im gonna put the time and effort into reading id rather learn something than just simply be entertained.
that being said here is what i have read recently and some for a second or third read.
Attempting Normal - Marc Maron, Treatises of Government - John Locke, Nausea - jp sartre, lord of the flies - william golding, captains of consciousness - stewart ewen, DUNE - Frank Herbert, survive! - les stroud

Music... THE SWORD, Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, Dr. Dog, Phoenix, Japandroids, Crystal Castles, Dinosaur Jr., Sunny Day Real Estate, Vampire Weekend, Melvins, The Chariot, Supertramp, blah blah blah....

Movies... a few films i may never tire of are Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, inglorious basterds, Big trouble in Little China, Bladerunner, aliens, friday, Big Lebowski, easy rider, dead man, and on and on and on and on...

TV... glob bless the interwebs! ill binge watch something once in a while. but i prefer to have company when i do. otherwise TV shows are more background noise for those days that music is either poisonous or uninteresting. Archer, Gotham, No Reservations, the Layover, Good Eats

food... yes. all of it!

I like to hit the bar once in a while. if we want to go out dressed to the nines, have some adult beverages and let loose, we can do that too!
