My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've just returned to the Pacific Northwest after several years abroad in the middle of nowhere, Africa. I was a ranger and research assistant in the African bush and I specialized in anti-poaching operations. Most of my days and nights involved leading volunteer researchers far closer to lions than they ever really wanted to be.

I've moved home recently, and life here is wonderful. (Also damp. I'm not a fan of the rain.) Nobody does beer like the PNW, and I've missed the local sports scene. I'm always happy to mix the two.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work and volunteer at Harborview Medical Center, and I love that there is always something exciting going on.

I've worked in restaurants for years, and I'm currently going to school for hospitality and management. I've lived abroad for several years now, and my dream is to continue traveling. I want to see and taste and try everything.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not spilling beer, building campfires, putting up hammocks, walking barefoot, falling asleep outside.

It's a shame none of these are marketable.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
At parties I count as social. Everywhere else, I'm probably just very friendly and loud. You can't win them all.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Benjamin Hoff for 'The Tao Of Pooh'
Jon Krakaur for 'Into the Wild'
Dan Abnett because I like action-packed reads.
Bill Waterson because Calvin and Hobbes still gets me every time.

TV + Movies: I just returned from no TV for more than a year, so I'm catching up with Game of Thrones and Sherlock. Also, I'm starting House and pretty much anything highly rated from the last ten years. Netflix and I have regular appointments for the foreseeable future.

Food: Yes please. The spicier the better. I will always choose seafood if it's on the menu. And I drink a lot of tea. No, really, it's a problem.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Flip Flops
2. Hoodie
3. Sunglasses
4. Tea
5. Hammock
6. Running shoes
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with coworkers at a little dive bar on Madison. It's a regular appointment.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm adopted! And people sometimes tell me that I look like my sister- I usually just thank them, but I sometimes wonder if I am supposed to tell them I'm not actually related.
