My self-summary
Where do I begin...

First & foremost, I am a gentleman. (Don't be fooled by all of my tattoos...that's just a common misconception)
In truth, I thank my parents every day for bringing up my siblings & I the way they did.
My family means the world to me, and we are all very close. Needless to say, I am very family oriented.

My close friends would describe me as a very honest, genuine, loyal, passionate, unique, interesting, & caring individual...with the word "goofball" thrown in there somewhere. (I have a fantastic sense of humor!)

I'm a pretty easygoing person. I can get along with just about anyone. I'm also very outgoing...I can walk into a place not knowing anyone, and make new friends.

I have a good head on my shoulders...I'm confident, but not cocky (there's a distinct difference).

I am extremely humble, and I am beyond thankful for everything that I have in my life.
I am also extremely driven, and a firm believer that hard work pays off.
I love working with my hands...And a little manual labor has never bothered me (I worked a blue collar manual labor job for years before switching to an office job)
But life wouldn't be fully enjoyable if you weren't able to relax every now & then...and when time allows, I love that too.

I'm a hopeless romantic, & I'm not ashamed of admitting that.

I have a dorky/nerdy side...and I'm not ashamed of admitting that either.

I'll always be up for an adventure. The more unique or spontaneous, the better!

I love being outdoors! Fishing, hiking, camping, etc... As long as I'm taking advantage of a nice day, I'm happy.

I'm a big kid at heart, and I love to make people laugh or smile, but can be an adult when I need to be.

I can be sarcastic, but not to the point where it's brutal.

I'm my own worst critic...it's what keeps me driven to be the best that I can be.

I love a good dive bar with a decent jukebox & a pool table.

I love the smell of a tattoo parlor...and in turn, I enjoy getting tattooed.
When people ask me if they hurt, I say "yes."
When they ask me if I regret them, I say "no."
And when they ask me if I know what they'll look like when I'm 80, I say "awesome."

So why am I on here?
There comes a point in your life where you realize that meeting people in bars becomes tiresome. So, with a little coaxing from family & friends, here I am.
Essentially, I'm looking for my other half. My "partner in crime", if you will.
I don't just want to date someone for the sake of dating...I want to find my best friend. Someone to share my exciting life with...and who would want to share their life with me as well. So I'm here because, well, you never really know what life will throw at you.

If you would like to know anything else about me, just ask!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm loving my life! That's what I'm doing with it.

Currently I work (what I consider to be) two jobs:

-My regular 9-5 is an office job. I work for a marketing company/distributor. I'm in charge of the ordering/purchasing departments. I enjoy it...mainly because I work with a few of my close friends. We've been saying for years that we should videotape our day-to-day antics & sell them to a television station...but "The Office" has unfortunately already been done.

-I have been fortunate enough to have my "second job" also be a main passion of mine...music. I have been a guitar player/singer for 18 years, and I am beyond thankful to be working with the musicians that I am!
I’m really good at
-Music (playing/writing/arranging/performing)
-Art (drawing, sketching, painting)
-Cooking (yes, I can)
-Snowboarding
-Making people laugh until they cry
-Being a loving & devoted uncle to my favorite little buddy, my nephew...and to my little angel, my new niece.
-Discovering interesting food combinations
-Remembering song lyrics or movie lines
-Wii bowling & Mario Kart on Nintendo 64 (I'll kick your butt!)
-Random voices or impressions
-Singing the "Dayman" song
-People watching
-Useless trivia (especially music trivia)
-Making up & singing random songs about the inanimate objects in my apartment
-Sipping whiskey like a gentleman
The first things people usually notice about me
They tend to first notice my height...after that I am usually told that I have nice eyes.
I have also been complimented on how well I carry myself, and how well my manners are.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books- I unfortunately do not read as much as I'd like to (I'm working on that). The last book that I read was Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I enjoyed that!

Movies- I have way too many favorites to list! I know how cliché that sounds, but it's the truth. I'm a fan of the Pirates series. I have a thing for old horror movies (40's-70's). Anything with zombies. Anything by Guy Ritchie, Tarantino, Monty Python, or Tim Burton. Comedies, Action, Adventure...I pretty much like them all. My favorite movie of all time, though, has to be Ghostbusters. Bill Murray is my hero.

Music- There wouldn't ever be a way for me to list all of my favorite bands...like movies, there are far too many. Though I tend to gravitate towards rock & roll, I listen to pretty much everything...but I don't really care for rap or techno.
Some of my favorites include: Queens Of The Stone Age, Led Zeppelin, Elvis, The Doors, Rival Sons, Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown, Ray Charles, The Who, Black Keys, The Clash, Vampire Weekend, Kings Of Leon, Iggy Pop & the Stooges, Clutch, David Bowie, Queen, Muddy Waters, Otis Rush, Citizen Cope, David Gray, Portishead, Tom Waits, Beppe Gambetta, Mumford & Sons, The Civil Wars, Frank Sinatra, Cab Calloway, The Kooks, Karnivool, Jeff Buckley, Alice In Chains, Mutemath, Tool, The Legendary Shack Shakers...this list could go on forever...I'm all over the map with this category.

Shows- There are a few shows that I have gotten hooked on: Arrested Development (also, Mr. Show, if you remember that gem), Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Sons Of Anarchy, Tosh, Mythbusters, How I Met Your Mother, Always Sunny, Face-Off, anything on the Food Network, the History Channel, or the Discovery Channel (I love to learn!)...and cartoons, I love cartoons.
Lately my obsession has been The Office. I've been watching them all in succession.

Food- I'm not a picky eater, but I definitely try to watch what I eat, and will always try to eat clean & healthy...but that's difficult when you're a foodie... A few of my favorites: Sushi/Japanese, grilled chicken or roast beef sandwiches (random, I know), Italian, Irish, Cuban, bacon (again, random...but bacon is amazing). I also have a pretty bad addiction to cheese.
The six things I could never do without
Let's just all agree and say that Family & Friends will always belong in this category. That said, here are my six:
-Music (My Guitar, My iPod)
-My Aviators
-My Snowboard
-Orange juice
-Laughter & good company

And as long as we're being honest here...
-Wine - (Specifically, red wine). Not for the purpose of being drunk, but for the enjoyment of it. I recently visited Spain & Italy...and wine isn't just a drink to them...it's a way of life. Interesting culture they all have!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Honestly? Music. The jukebox/creativeness within my head is always on. It's usually a melody, or a lyric, or a rhythm...I can't turn it off.

I also tend to think about the future often. My life has been a great ride thus far, and I am excited for whatever is ahead of me. It would be nice to have someone to share that with.
On a typical Friday night I am
There's no such thing as a typical Friday night for me.
I'll either be playing a show, out at a bar with some friends, watching my nephew & niece, or just relaxing at home. It all depends on the night & my mood.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have but one fear in this world: Hospitals.
It's silly, I know... There's just something about them that terrifies me. It's honestly more of an uncomfortableness than anything else. But when I need to be in one, I push past my odd fear.
*If you happen to work in a hospital, no, that is not a deal breaker.

Truth time- that's not the most private thing I am willing to admit... You'll have to earn the others.
