I've lived just outside of Hoboken for almost a year now after spending the first 23 years of my life living in Minnesota. I'm starting to grow more comfortable living on the east coast and I'm new to these types of sites, but figured it can't hurt to branch out and meet some people on here.

I love sports...I'm a HUGE baseball fan (Go Twins!), but there's plenty more to me than that. I love to explore the city in my spare time...I'm a big fan of traveling, music, movies, museums, roller coasters, and goofing around with friends.

I like to think of myself as a laid-back kind of guy who does his best not to take life for granted. I'm optimistic, adventurous, and above all else I am Minnesota nice :)

Enjoying it! I've taken a keen interest in exploring the NJ/NY area and seeking out cool events (musical, cultural, etc) in my spare time to help me broaden my horizons while seeing more of this fascinating area.

As for work, I'm currently living out my dream of working in sports. Come March, I'll be entering my second season of looking up and providing baseball stats to on-air talent at a TV network

Being in the right place at the right time. The reason I'm even living on the east coast in the first place is that I was offered a job after competing on a baseball trivia game show. Since moving here, I've been in the right place often enough to have been quoted in the NY Times, told by then-NY Mets pitcher R.A. Dickey that I have a good fastball, and even have my hair washed by a former American League MVP winner (true and awkward story!).

As I said before, I love baseball, but there's PLENTY more to me than that. I consider myself an expert at reciting useless pop-culture facts, and I've spent about 15 years of my life swimming competitively and playing the cello. Sadly, I've probably become better at Guitar Hero in about half that length of time :P

I'd say probably my height (I'm a pretty tall dude), but I've also been told that my light blue eyes stand out quite a bit--in a good way--as well

I enjoy watching How I Met Your Mother (I've determined that I am essentially a skinnier and single version of Marshall), The Office, and Big Bang Theory. I also still love my 90's Nicktoons, and still watch shows like Doug on occasion.

My favorite movies are Forrest Gump, Happy Gilmore, and Field of Dreams, but there are plenty of others high on that list like Dumb & Dumber, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Ocean's 11

And I'm a fan of just about any type of music, but mostly rock and alternative...especially Coldplay, Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox 20, Foo Fighters or anything from the 90's!

Most likely hanging out with friends at the bar or going to a sporting event, but occasionally I'll just stay in and watch a movie
