I am spiritual, chivalrous, and self-aware.

My Self-Summary

Self-summary, eh? That's a unique way of saying "Describe yourself." I'm gonna stick with bullet-points here, being that I'm not great at self-summaries.

-I'm an outgoing guy, and I can usually get along with just about anyone.

-I enjoy outdoorsy-type stuff like hiking, camping, fishing, BBQ's, and swimming (preferably the beach, but pools are good too).

-Clubbing, dancing, and bar-hopping are three of my greatest joys in life.

-I like Text-Messaging, but it's too goddamn expensive on my plan. So I had to disconnect the function on my phone.

-I used to be a goth. I'm not anymore, but I still indulge in The Rocky Horror Picture Show from time to time.

-My friends would describe me as "witty." I'd describe them as "right."

-My true love is the stage, but acting doesn't pay the bills unless you're discovered, so:

-I'm a building trades apprentice with Local 104 Sheet Metal Workers' Union. It's a fun career with decent job security, good pay, and GREAT benefits.

-I'm a damn fine cook. Ask anyone who's sampled my work.

-I love art, poetry, and music almost more than life itself.

-I'm a spiritual man of an alternate faith. I wouldn't call myself religious, as I feel that the term kinda implies organized religion, which I think is stupid.

Beyond all this, message me and find out for yourself what I'm like.

What I’m doing with my life

Failing at auditions and hoping I have the right (insert quality here) for someone's next flick, play, or band, lol.

But seriously, as I said above I'm a building-trades apprentice. When I'm done with that program, I'm gonna get into the political wing of the union. Maybe I'll be union president, maybe just a business rep, either way I'm happy. And I hope to tap certain family connections I have in the world of real estate and property so I can retire early and never have to worry about money again.

I’m really good at

Singing, poetry, working with my hands, playing designated driver, pool, darts, dominoes, Texas hold 'em, dancing, staying under my limit when I'm out partying, babysitting people who've had one too many, conversation, debate.

The first things people usually notice about me

Either my eyes (they're really blue) or that they think they know me from somewhere.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Too many books to list, so here's my favorite authors: Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, Robert T. Kiyosaki, J.K. Rowling, Edgar Allen Poe, J.R.R. Tolkien, Morgan Llewellyn, Allen Moore, James O'Barr, Douglas Adams, Michael & Jeff Shaara, Max Brooks.

Music: Yes.

Movies: Generally I like the comedy and horror genres, along with most movies people would describe as Cult-Classics. Here are a few of my specific favorites (which may or may not fit those molds). V for Vendetta, The Crow, Saw (all but 5; what a turd), The Nightmare on Elm Street Series, Repo: The Genetic Opera, The Ring, Both Star Wars Trilogies, The Lord of the Rings, Monty Python's holy trinity (Life of Brian, Holy Grail, Meaning of Life), Dogma, Clerks, anything Jay and Silent Bob really.

TV: Adult Swim, 24, Dr. Who, Firefly, The Simpsons (even after all these years...), Mystery Science Theater 3000.

The six things I could never do without

Books, Movies, Music, Art, The Beach, The Woods.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The blessings in my life. There's a lot of 'em.

On a typical Friday night I am

Taking in a movie, hanging out with my friends at a party or bar, or relaxing at home with a beer and a rental, depending on how much money I have left over from the week.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

...is everything I've already admitted here. Past experience has proven to me that admitting anything private online is a bad idea. I might tell you my secrets if you get to know me, though.

You should message me if

-You've read this far and you like what you've seen.

-You are primarily interested in making a new friend, and agree with me that "Dating" should follow (not precede) "Friendship."

-You have at least a pretty good idea of where you want life to take you.
