My self-summary
City dweller. Bar-hopper. Card player. Tarot-reader. Pool shark (in training). Game designer. Nature lover. Hiker. Camper. Spiritual, not religious. Unpaid counselor. Dominant in some ways, balanced in others. Mildly kinky. Outgoing. Good-natured. Good-humored. Level-headed. Affectionate. Sharp-witted. Nearly impossible to offend. Nonsmoker as of 2/28/2015. Movie enthusiast. Borderline music junkie. Vigorous reader. Aspiring writer (who actually has his book near completion). Bad at summarizing self.

More about me can be found in the questions. Look there.

::UPDATE:: I am no longer a tinner, but due to OKC not allowing me to change my username unless I spend money, I'm forced to state that here. I've moved on from trade school to higher education. Specifically English and Language Arts. I want to be an editor/professor 8 years from now.
What I’m doing with my life
Writing, going to class, keeping my sights set on the dream and taking steps toward it.
I’m really good at
Poetry, prose, cooking, working with my hands, fixing things, jury-rigging what I can't fix, pool, darts, dominoes, Texas hold 'em, dancing, being in the right place at the right time, keeping my cool in uncomfortable/stressful situations, conversation, debate, misusing "quotation marks," using (parentheses) way too much.
The first things people usually notice about me
Either my eyes (they're really blue) or that they think they know me from somewhere.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too many books to list, so here's my favorite authors: Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, Robert T. Kiyosaki, J.K. Rowling, Edgar Allen Poe, J.R.R. Tolkien, Morgan Llewellyn, George R.R. Martin, Allen Moore, James O'Barr, Douglas Adams, Michael & Jeff Shaara, Max Brooks.

Music: Anything and everything. Except dumbstep.

Movies: Generally I like the comedy and horror genres, along with movies one would describe as Cult-Classics. Here are a few of my specific favorites (which may or may not fit those molds). V for Vendetta, The Crow, Saw, The Nightmare on Elm Street Series, Repo: The Genetic Opera, Kickass, the new Batman series (sorry purists, Christian Bale just does it better), The Ring, Both Star Wars Trilogies, The Lord of the Rings, The Harry Potter series, Monty Python's holy trinity (Life of Brian, Holy Grail, Meaning of Life), Dogma, Clerks, anything Jay and Silent Bob really.

TV: The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Dexter, Adult Swim, 24, Dr. Who, Firefly, The Simpsons (even after all these years...), Archer, Game of Thrones (up to season 5; yeah, I'm a book snob), Vikings, Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Food: I like strong flavors. Think garlic, jalapeno, that type of thing. And sorry vegans, I admire your choice, but I'm a carnivore. Nothing I love more than a good steak.
The six things I could never do without
Books, Movies, Music, Art, The Beach, The Woods.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Things that infuriate me. It's something of a bad habit.
On a typical Friday night I am
Taking in a movie, hanging out with my friends at a party or bar, or relaxing at home with a beer and a rental, depending on how I feel.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have the same birthday, jagged scar and vision disability as Harry Potter.

I can sing two versions of "The Rains of Castamere" note for note and word for word (if you didn't have to Google that, you rule. Message me).

It drives me absolutely nuts that the majority of Americans think "Wherefore art thou Romeo" means, "Where are you, Romeo?" Seriously, if you know what it actually means, see the above parentheses.

I have a kinky, dominant side. Relatively mild but there.

I expect absolutely nothing and less to come from this site.
You should message me if
-You fit the criteria stated above, in "The most private thing I'm willing to admit."

-You are primarily interested in making a new friend, and agree with me that "Dating" should follow (not precede) "Friendship."

-You have at least a pretty good idea of where you want life to take you.
