My self-summary
I'm originally from Jacksonville, Florida. I quote from tv and films a lot. I can be extremely shy or extremely outspoken depending on the situation. I love sketch comedy, and I want to be on Saturday Night Live someday. I think I'm the only person left who never had a Myspace. My friends and I like to quote our favorite lines from a film that no one has ever seen. I'm twice as attracted to girls who wear glasses, but girls with ink and metal in their skin make me very, very sad. I miss playing airsoft back home, because that was a really fun way to spend a Sunday. Also, I'm pretty liberal, and Election Day is my Super Bowl.

I’m really good at
winning trivia contests (especially movies), witty remarks, standing on my head, asking/answering hypothetical questions, sleeping through loud noises, making sweet tea, drinking sweet tea, forgetting names, and remembering lines.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A: The Perks of Being A Wallflower, The "Lord of the Rings" books, The Great Gatsby, Sphere, Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil, The Infanticidal Logic of Evolution and Culture, Watership Down, and World War Z. I also just finished The Count of Monte Cristo, which was incredible. I also read a lot of plays, of which my favorites are Donald Margulies' "Dinner With Friends", Eugene Ionesco's "Rhinoceros" and "The Bald Soprano", and Anton Chekov's "The Dangers of Tobacco".

I don't watch a lot of regular tv, but I own the complete series of The West Wing, Studio 60 On the Sunset Strip, Arrested Development, and The Kids In The Hall on DVD.

B:Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Truman Show, Schindler's List, Joe Vs. the Volcano, Return of the Jedi, Top Gun

C: Simon & Garfunkel(and individually Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel), The Beatles (and individually George Harrison), Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Roy Orbison, The Mamas and the Papas, Jim Croce, though this is by no means all. Most of the music I really love was recorded before I was born. Also, I recently got my first iPod, and after loading all the music I own onto it, discovered I have enough songs to play for 6 straight days.

D: Shrimp/seafood (because I grew up in Florida), hamburgers, french fries, chocolate ice cream, things like that. I have simple tastes. Though it turns out I also enjoy Thai.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
starting what I call "The Mirror Project". It would basically be me keeping a handheld mirror with me whenever I go out, then holding it up to every hipster I see, and documenting their response.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I joined this site on the advice of a friend several years ago, and though I've been in a few relationships since then, none of them had anything to do with this site. At this point I really only log in when I get a message. I'm strongly considering abandoning it entirely. Feel free to try, though.
