Way to go, OKCupid.

I just noticed that OkCupid has added a feature which tells you how often people respond to their messages. This is amazing. Now I know not to message anyone who replies "very selectively". In fact, I can pretty much write off anyone not in the "replies often" category. Thank you, OkCupid.

One of your friends is dating someone you despise, and that person is trying to come between you and your friend. What do you do?
  • Demand that your friend dump him/her.
  • Inform your friend as best you can.
  • Say nothing and hope.
  • Covertly try to break them up.
I'm not a fan of the options in this question. The closest answer for me is "Say nothing and hope", but even that isn't entirely correct. When it comes to the relationships of friends, I strongly adhere to the Guy Code. Basically, it doesn't matter how much I might not like my friend's partner; if they're happy, then everything's fine. The Code says that guys don't try to screw up their friends' relationships, we don't complain about our friends' partners, and even though not all guys adhere to the Code (even though we all know about it), I certainly do. So I'd say nothing, but I wouldn't hope for them to break up. That would be lame.
