My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm 27 and I've lived in Charlotte for about a year now and lived all over North Carolina at this point. I really like this state, but I'm still trying to decide if this is where I see myself living for an extended period. Maybe I meet someone and find a reason to stay
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
To be completely honest, I'm just working, saving money, and trying to have a little fun. I certainly don't live a rock star lifestyle and I won't try and project that
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding the humor in everyday situations. I tend to be a "glass half empty" kind of guy and humor is definitely how I handle most absurd situations in my life
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

First and foremost, I am a music junkie. I have such a broad taste in tunes that it's really hard to nail down what I'm enjoying from week to week. I enjoy collecting vinyl records and everything that entails. My idea of a perfect Saturday is finding a good LP, listen, and find an accompanying Wikipedia entry and learn something about the band or artist. Currently, I've been enjoying a lot of folk and country but will randomly listen to jazz or noise rock for a few days and then go back to what what previously playing. I'm all over the place.

As far as books, it takes a lot for me to pursue a good book unless someone blatantly asks me to read it. I just finished reading "In the Heart of the Sea," which is the true story behind Moby Dick, after a neighbor, who is an English teacher, insisted I read it. I couldn't put it down and I've told him to keep bringing me his suggestions.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why I haven't bought a banjo yet...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
You'll usually find me with me with a close, handful of friends talking about the same ol' stuff. I like spending time with people I know well and understand the strange thoughts that run through my head. If I'm going out I like to find myself at a dive bar, play some pool, and enjoy a few pitchers. I despise going to a bar where I have to yell and feign understanding what you said while some frat boy yells for more Jäger shots. I'd rather have a halfway intelligent conversation and enjoy my buzz
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm basically an open book and don't mind telling people most things. You'll have to strike up a conversation with me first, though. I can't reveal all my secrets here
