My self-summary
I'm Colin. A former lawyer and tutor, I'm now embarking on a new career in the emergency services. Mainly to be found outside of work in a pub, bar or restaurant somewhere in Central London. Open-minded and keen to explore new places.
What I’m doing with my life
Crusoe the celebrity dachshund
I’m really good at
Making pizza (whatever the occasion).
Making people laugh.
Putting my foot in it
Finding a good bar or unusual place to visit. Remembering useless information.
I'm also slowly building up my photography skills.
The first things people usually notice about me
- Tall
- Well spoken
- My sense of humour
- Passion for what I do in life
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've discovered mint M&Ms whilst on holiday in the States and am busy tucking into sweet and salted popcorn as a replacement. I also have a bit of an addiction to After Eight mints and Willies Cacao...yes I have a sweet tooth!

I've watched all the usual shows such as Breaking Bad and Orange is the New Black (but not GOT). I'm currently enjoying Better call Saul and waiting for the return of Suits.

The most recent film I watched was The Lego Movie, it's definitely worth seeing if you haven't already for a bit of light fun. However the best film I've seen in the last year is Captain Phillips.

Current musical favourites are Haim, Meghan Trainor and Nickleback.
The six things I could never do without
- Friends
- Family
- Music
- German beer
- Films
- A job I'm passionate about
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next adventure/exploration.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sampling London life. I've been here nearly ten years now and I love finding new places. Nice restaurants or bars. Usually rounding up the gang for some form of social event.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once washed dishes in a Chinese restaurant - I was the only one in the kitchen who spoke English and was referred to as 'boy' by the staff.
You should message me if
You don't play games, want to go out, share a laugh, explore London and don't believe that romance is dead.
