My name is Colin and I really cannot wait to meet new people!

Originally, I had effectively listed a resume in trying to describe myself. I have to come to realize that my degrees or my job will never define me. Here are some other things that better describe me. I believe that any problem can be solved with thought, reason, and passion. Historical trivia, football, soccer, choral music, and science fiction are some of my loves. I am an Eagle Scout. I like to say "Yes and". People tell me that I engage people I meet for the first time in intense conversation. I just like to figure out who people are I guess. Finally, I am really bad at bowling and dancing, but still love to do them. Also, I absolutely will never ski, but will gladly cook a nice home cooked meal in the cabin.

I have recently accepted a new job where I will be an attorney protecting the educational rights of students with disabilities and their parents. It is an incredible honor to do so and a blessing that at such a young age I can start living my vocation. I have a real passion for education and civil rights work.
