My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a optimistic person who enjoys life, loves music and got a Bachelor degree in Social Work, which means I am a professional in the field of health, behaviour and society. You could find me doing jobs such as event coordinating, youth work, personal coaching... all kind of jobs where there are possibilities for a clients own personal development. Just think of non-for-profit organisations and you already are close to where my field of expertise is. But unfortunatly I'm not working in that field at the moment.

You should look up to see my age as it changes every year. Although I always say "You are as old as you feel you are". Next to these things I do like to travel, love attending gigs in every form and hate to plan my future. Just live day by day and will see what live will bring me.

Nou ja, ik ga er van uit dat jij als lezer ook wel Engels kan lezen dus ga ik hier niet het hele verhaal weer vertellen. Ik kan het natuurlijk wel op verzoek per mail of andere vorm vertellen.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently I am in between jobs. I used to earn money by driving a
truck mainly distributing supermarkets throughout the Netherlands
and some incidental trips to either Belgium or Germany. I quit the
job before I went to Australia for 3 months and decided not to take
the job back as I would otherwise never get a job within my field
and level of education although knowing it is hard to find a job as
it is a heavily government subsidised field.

Next to this I like traveling, I also go out for a drink,
watching (art house) movies either at home or in a cinema, attend
live music or even go to a festival (to see even more live
music) when I have the chance. Going for a drink is mostly to
socialise with friends and meet new interesting people.

Just for the rest.... Carpe Noctem
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being patient and realistic, staying positive and keeping a cool head in difficult and hard times, finding solutions for problems, according to others photography, motivate others and according to some people: looking like Dave Grohl.. 15 years later I still don't know where that was based on. Next to it I got a very good memory which can be very useful when you don't want to get lost for example in the woods.

Oh.. and I'm really good in being able to see the good and the positive in other people.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm tall, wear glasses and can talk a lot.... and that is really a lot!!!

The more people get to know me they usually notice that I'm calm, reliable, relaxed and my knowledge of music (some people call me a walking pop-encyclopaedia, if so they should meet on of my friends |-) all what I, he knows and even much more).

And recently someone called me a first class charmer.

(a) I don't read much but I really did like 'De Aanslag' which was the novel where the first Dutch Academy Award winner was based on. I just own a few books such as 'The Alchemist' by Coelho, Stephen King's 'The Dead Zone' and my NYC friend Ben Arthur's 'The Lure of the Distant Sound'.. oh and off course some study related books about society, music and creativity.

(b) (As many people) Lord of the Rings, High Fidelity, the Shawshank Redemption, Snatch, Lock Stock & two Smoking Barrels, Night Watch (that Russian movie), Trainspotting, Pulp Fiction, Batlle Royale (1 and 2), Crouchin Tiger Hidden Dragon, Jalla! Jalla!, Fight Club, all Monty Pythons, Fucking Amal and many more like these cult-classics...

(c) A wide variety including: Antillectual, Radio Blackout, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Underworld, Face Tomorrow, Far, At the Drive-In, the Mars Volta, Sparta, Green Lizard, Nirvana, Korn, Deftones, Roni Size (Reprazent), Josh Wink, the Gathering, QOTSA, Belle & Sebastian, Oceansize, the Pixies, the Smiths, Joy Division, Ministry, the Beatles, Snow Patrol, Hell is for Heroes, Hundred Reasons, Biffy Clyro, Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, d'EUS, Zita Swoon, the Start, the Spirit that Guides Us, Cancelled, End of April, Marilyn Manson, Dreadlock Pussy, Soulwax, Primus, BOO!, Will Haven, the Blood Brothers, Dillinger Escape Plan, the Prodigy, Ed Rush, Jeff Buckley, Cypress Hill, Green Day, Offspring, Black Flag/Rollins Band... Do I really need to name my 650+ catalogue?

(d) Curries, chicken, kangaroo (yes skippy and co.), pizza, lasagna, curry, mexican, chips (like french fries).. well also a lot. You cook it, I'll eat it ;). Don't worry, I can cook as well.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
During my stay in Birmingham I realised it's hard to live without the Internet. Once you are used to it, which also counts for a television. But I think I could live without them for a long time, not forever. Although I do want to stay updated about the things happening in the world and like to be able to stay in touch with all the friends I made all over the world.

But the six things? 1. The basic needs to be able to achieve my individual potential (people who know Maslow know what I mean), 2. Glasses, to see the beauty of the world, as I can't see enough without them (unless the most beautiful thing in the world is laying next to me in my bed), 3. My close friends and family, as I realised how much they mean to me while I was in Birmingham as well in Australia although I had my brother, sister-in-law and little niece and nephew over there (and still have), 4. Music in all it's forms, 5. The freedom to express yourself, 6. A photo camera to shoot pictures off the beautiful places I visit.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Anything....... well almost anything... life, friends, music, my friends abroad, again music. It changes from time to time. Oh and did I mention music?

The next thing may sound me being desperate but I can asure you this isn't the case. I do spend time thinking if I ever will find my soulmate. Maybe it sounds strange but when I'm traveling or am at a concert or festival I more and more mis the feeling of someone you can have fun with. Although this doesn't stop me from doing these things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends on what friends are doing this night, but mostly at home watching movies or listening to music while spending time online. In general if I'm going for a drink it would be on a Saturday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cheated on a girlfriend once and I still feel bad about it. Getting affection from another girl in a period where the one relation isn't going that well isn't an excuse. I've never had the guts to tell her and I wished it never happened.
