My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Moving to New Orleans in a few weeks - still home in Connecticut for the time being.

I'm find myself as being moderate in both my opinions and political views. I have always found that anything in extremes is never good, and I consider myself quietly opinionated about most things.

I enjoy reading - crime novels and historical memoirs are my favorite preferences. I love adventuring and being outdoors, so autumn and summer are what I enjoy most out of the year. I am always down for hiking, off-roading, shooting or whatever else the day brings me.

I am a huge history buff, so if it's vintage I am usually into it. Going along with my love for history, World War Two reenacting is my biggest hobby. I enjoy antique stores and museums. (See a theme here?) If you can go to either with me we will get along swimmingly.

I get told that I look like Peter Parker or Ben McKenzie quite a bit, and I have a couple of tattoos. I like listening to the radio, especially old-timey radio. I am a sucker for a good oldies station. Long drives that lead nowhere are enjoyable for me, most especially at night. I've been told that everything I wear smells like Old Spice or sandalwood.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am an Air Force veteran who attempted college for a little while. I applied with the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office and will be starting work there as a deputy in several weeks. Hangin' out at home in Connecticut until then.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I can make a really swell spaceship noise by whistling and I can draw a pretty mean Homer Simpson.

I am a pretty low key kind of person. If I'm not out of state for recreational purposes, most Friday nights I can generally be found nursing a cider at the bar or catching a movie.

My bunkmate in boot camp referred to me as "Pig Pen" because of how bad my feet stank.
