My Self-Summary
I am a geek. I spend more time working in front of a computer than
is reasonable or healthy. I am genuinely interested in things I
know little about. I love words but am a terrible speller. I invest
a lot in the things I care about or find compelling and too little
in the things I don't: I'm great at 3D modeling and photoshop but I
really suck at watering plants and buying groceries.
What I’m doing with my life
Finishing up school, doing freelance motion graphics and visual
effects, overworking myself.

Tetris and Boggle.
The first things people usually notice about me
I choose my words carefully and speak very slowly. Or that I have
dinosaur eyes.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books - Mostly non-fiction. I've recently been on a sociology kick
lately: Malcolm Gladwell (The Tipping Point, Outliers, Blink),
Freakonomics, Gang Leader for a Day.
Movies - I a big documentary fan: Grizzly Man, Winged Migration, Hearts and Minds. Also into some more obscure, experimental stuff; Naqoyqatsi, Tarnation.
Music - The Books, Ratatat, The Octopus Project, Hot Chip, Yeasayer, The Knife, The Raconteurs, MGMT, Le Loup
Food - Honestly, food doesn't really do much for me (with the exception of sushi). I eat mainly so that I don't die. I do like eating with people that love food though because it forces me to stop and appreciate it.

I have only recently overcome a fear of seagulls. Apparently
seagulls don't deliberately seek out blond hair to crap on...thanks
mom and dad for all the lies and subsequent years of scarring.
